These are durable, functional, and perfect for my young children! We use them as bathroom timers, cleanup timers, turn taking timers with toys, etc. They are a larger size than typical timers. I wish they were offered in a larger variety of time options!

This was an impulse buy when on sale and I wasn't sure if we could use it or not but my little dude loves it and asks for it to 'time' things too. He's 3 so not trying to time with a stop watch but great for a visual when I ask for 5 min before he gets something or he only has 5 minutes to clean or such. We use it for games, cleaning, fun. It's big and chunky great for littles to be able to handle well too. Would buy again!

I purchased this timer for my grandson , he is my youngest at 9 and I’m trying to spend as much time as I can before I’m not his “Best Grama ever, who’s can do everything so special!” He takes the school bus from my house every morning and we have a great time. I do notice him wanting to look at my iPad with me there but he doesn’t talk as much. So I got this huge timer and told him when it runs out he has to put away the iPad. Good thing he doesn’t pay attention. As soon as he turns his head I flip it. But when we’re talking I wait until it’s almost empty and flip it again. He loves it and thinks it’s great. But he did take time running the sand through and said , Grama it’s right on time but I don’t understand. That’s all he said. It’s a great value for my money and it’s sturdy. Might just get another one. Functions perfectly.

**There is a whole other market for these**. I now have three of these for adults. Two in supervisory positions in offices where they needed visual queues for people to move along their conversations. One being used for someone who needed to track her time doing specific tasks. These are big, durable, very un-ignorable, and super gratifying to pick up and slam down to make a point (for those chatty office gossips)! lol. Great value. Absolutely love this item! It is so helpful for my 3 and 1 year old when it’s clean up time, time to head out, get ready etc!It’s been so helpful with visualizing the concept of time and learning time management!The product itself has been VERY durable in the hands of both my toddlers which is a huge PLUS! Because we all know toddler boys can be especially rough on things! Overall very satisfied with this sand timer and I highly recommend it!

Incredible for setting a timer for my 3 year old. He can see the sand falling and once’s it empty he knows it’s bed time. Fantastic

Sturdy and perfect for kids

The price of these are a little high but they are very sturdy and good quality. The sand doesn't get stuck like smaller timers. I use this at home for my kids to help them stay on task. The size is nice because you can see it from multiple places in a room. Hopefully the size and durability will help it last a long time. I have the 5 and 10 minute timers and I've used them almost every day. The kids think it's fun to look at.
