Great for Takoyaki!
i needed a quick fix for some dashi to make some takoyaki to entertain some guests. I chose this one and it completed the umami flavour for everyone tasting.

As an import, I did find this expensive but I really needed some vegetarian dashi to rehydrate my okara powder.This pack costs about £1.20 without all the import fees and the date on mine wasn't particularly long.Easy individual sachets, tastes exactly as it should and vegetarian/vegan friendly. The reason this is not suitable for shellfish allergies is because they cant guarantee there are no traces during processing.
