Where have you been all my life!!!
I live Augusta, GA where my neighborhood was completely decimated by Hurricane Helene. Between that and a tornado ripping through my front yard, I lost three enormous, beautiful trees, one older than the U.S. Declaration of Independence. I decided to memorialize these beautiful trees with various fields of wild flowers, starting with the area directly below my kitchen window. I CANNOT say enough positive things about this tiller:1. It’s easy to assemble. 10 minutes from the box.2. It’s powerful.3. It’s easy to operate. If you can walk a dog or a precocious child, you can operate this tool.4. The breath and depth of this machine’s ability to unearth small/medium sized roots is nothing short of miraculous. Also surprising was its removal of the entire areas’s layers of anti-weed cloth that was laid down by the previous home owners. I didn’t intend on removing the layer of cloth, but the machine had other ideas so I went along with the plan. I’m glad I did because it’s one helluva cleaner area now.5. One of the most impressive discoveries early on was my walking backwards with the tiller and lifting slightly towards my chest which causes the machine to pitch forward and dig deeper to really loosen that rich and moist soil - - doing so removed the need for me to even consider buying any amount of new dirt for the wildflower seeds I’ll be throwing down. I think this was one of the most useful motions used during the entire process.6. Because my area was so packed with years of roots and layer of cloth, I did have to stop the machine three times in the 90 minutes I was tilling in order to remove the wrappings of the materials around the spool. But that’s expected. The area pictured (before and after) took me 90 minutes from start to finish. I am relentlessly meticulous about yard work. Someone else may have done it quicker. I promise you, had I not used this tiller, (a) my back would be shot by now, (b) I would be no where done - manually tilled, this would have easily been a 3-5 hour job and likely cost me a bad back for the next two weeks. I’m ready to start hitting the other areas where the tress used to be.Make no mistake, this tiller is the best decision you can make. It’s sturdy, effective, and the cost is WELL beyond reasonable.Happy Tilling!!!!

5/5 Stars
We were looking to borrow or rent a tiller for our raised garden beds (~300 sq. ft. total), but had no luck. Commercially available gas tillers (at the major hardware stores) were hundreds of dollars or more. We found this one on Amazon with high review ratings and purchased it. I am normally not a fan of electric garden tools, but this one performs perfectly. Plenty of power, it can dig pretty deep if you keep it in the same spot. It rips out roots from weeds and prior year plantings. Just make sure if you are running into a lot of weeds/roots, stop every so often and clean them out from the blades for best performance. I also recommend that you hose the blades off completely and let them dry before you put it away in order to extend its lifespan. I do wish it had a variable speed option, but that is our fault for not recognizing that prior to purchase. I wouldn't worry about installing the wire/cord clips, as they are not veery strong and fall off every time we use it. Overall highly recommended, we tilled/cultivated our garden beds in record time.

Gets the Job Done!
This is a hard worker! I have a hard dirt yard with rocks, this worked great. WS able to turn over my entire back yard for reseeding. Easy to use. Worth it for the price.

Very impressed with the power of this litte electric tiller.
I will admit that I was skeptical of what this tiller would do. But, I was pleasantly surprised. It has a lot of power and is perfect for my raised bed garden plots. It tends to bounce a bit with hard ground, but it really did a great job mixing my compost into my garden soil. These were new beds I just started and the tiller tines were able to chew through the underground roots. I liked the wider handles since it made it easier to control the tiller. The trigger pull to start the tiller is easy to use and it cuts off immediately when released. Time will tell how it holds up in the future, but for now, I think it was worth the money. It did more than I was expecting.

Use the correct amerage extension cord with this tiller to work great.
Powerful tiller, easily assembled, does a decent job.Firstly, this is a 13.5 AMP tiller. It requires an extension cord that delivers15 AMPS. Suggested extensions cords often are only 10 AMPS. Using a 10 AMP electrical supply will: 1) reduce power, 2) overheat the engine, 3) possibly cause the overheated engine to smoke and 4) die or worse catch on fire! Ensure to use the right extension cord.Because it has no throttle it goes full speed ahead only. It would be great if I could throttle it down for the first, second, and last courses over the bed but I learned to lift the tines up high so it didn't dig itself into a hole. Lots of turf causes it to jump around. It will throw stones back at you. Admittedly, my garden had been tilled by a tractor .But this little gem really turns the soil though it takes a short learning curve to handle it correctly. And, watch your extension cord so it doesn't tangle around the tines like dumbo here.

Great product for the money, would suggest to anyone looking to flip some dirt
One of the best purchases on Amazon I’ve made. Bought it for our little gardens because tilling with the gopher by hand was becoming too much. After using it, we thought to make the garden bigger. Check for roots first, obviously. Works amazing and has some serious power. Looking for other things to till
