Will make you sob!
I sobbed so many times while reading this fiction. What would I do if I was left paralysed? What would I do if a loved one was paralysed and wanted to end her/ his life?? A devastatingly beautiful novel! An unputdownable one after ages.

A good book for emotional and sensitive people
Amazon delivered thhis book through Indian Speed Post which is the first time they did. I got the book in a good condition.Coming to the book, I had heard a lot about this book. I hardly indulge in romantic novels. So, for a long time I did not give it a try. But, I also believe in the fact : " Never say never". So, I thought to give it a try. First thing first - I loved the book. The writing style of the author is easy, smooth and convincing. Every scenario or the situation has been described in such a detailed level that one can easily visualise it. It seemed like a movie going on in front of the eyes while reading this book. That is why a movie was made out of this book but unfortunately the movie was not even a 1% of the book. The plot of the book is emotional yet it will not throw you into the pool of tears. It has a funny element to it. It is not just a romantic story. It is about the various emotions of life. It is simple yet gripping, tragic yet hope infusing. It seems that I will never be able to forget Louisa Clark and Will Traynor.

A beautiful story not to be missed. Read it before you watch the movie.
This book was hilarious yet heart wrenching to read. It's a journey of a woman trying to save a man opting for Euthanasia and on the way, they both unconsciously save each other from different demons in their lives. She saves him from depression and hating his life, and he helps her discover who she truly is. This may not sound as a plot that claims to be of the romance genre, but believe me, it is. Though the romance is in the background. The foreground of the book is Lou's mission to change Will's mind about ending his life through euthanasia. Maybe that's what I loved about this book. The mission not over shadowed by romance. But the chemistry between Lou and Will is very entertaining. It's full of sarcasm, understanding, laughter, grumpiness, bossiness, care and fun.To read the book through Lou's POV was a wonderful experience full of roller coaster emotions. She is a type of person you can easily relate too. She is funny, bubbly but she is also a sort of person you can relay on with closed eyes. But you can't say she is a saint. No, she has her negatives too, but her positives outweigh the negatives. She loves her family, but like every normal human being, does have issues with them too. I especially loved her relationship with her sister Treena. They both fight over the silliest of things like cats and dogs, they are jealous of each other, sometimes even hate each other, but when the time comes, they have each other's backs and no one can persuade them otherwise. I loved the role of Nathan, and enjoyed the development of his friendship with Lou from when she first becomes Will's carer to the very end. This book offers multiple POVs, a chapter for each character sprinked throughout. Though we get a chance to glimpse inside the minds of the other characters, which is enlightening, the book is dominated by Lou.Overall, the writing style is easy, friendly and funny with a perfect doses and description of human emotions and psychology.

I love to read books which will take me on an ...
I usually go by the motto read book before you watch the film adaption, but that wasn’t the case with Me before You. I happened to see the trailer of Me Before You on various Social networking sites and I was intrigued. I watched the movie and I was blown. I was thinking since I have already seen the movie, the book won’t shock me. I was proved wrong.I will be very honest, I love to read books which will take me on an emotional roller coaster and leaves me high and dry. I have always been drawn to tragic love stories (thanks to my obsession with Romeo and Juliet) so naturally I went ahead and bought the book. This is a story of two young people who are battered by the life. Lou by chance gets a job in Traynor Mansion and becomes a care taker for Will Traynor. Will Traynor who was once a active young man is now paralyzed due to a motor cycle accident. Will given the circumstances is aloof, cranky and obnoxious most of the time to Lou. As the time passes, their relationship smoothes as Will begins to get intrigued with her. Will and Lou’s light banter and the way Will teases her are written well and reader gets to see the funny and sarcastic side of Will many times.I have always believed if the author can make you cry your heart out, he/she has succeeded in their story telling. That’s what exactly Jojo Moyes has done. For all the laughs and joy you experience with Lou and Will, the author has multiplied it thrice with sorrow. My heart was twisted with a knife every time when Will was miserable over his state. You get to see the characters growing, becoming independent. Lou, who was afraid to lead a life of her own, flourishes beautifully under the guidance of Will. She starts loving herself more. Will who was miserable over his state, starts opening up, starts to enjoy the little moments. The book not only makes you cry, its also makes you laugh. This book is not just about Love. It’s about Friendship. It’s a story of Life and Death and want comes in between. Everything in the book seemed real for me. The pain, the misery, the embarrassment faced by Will feels all real. Nowhere did I feel any situation was just added for the sake of filling the pages. My heart has been broken to million pieces over the ending and yet I cannot complain about it. Will’s decision over his life seemed acceptable to me.The book is well edited. The author has given heart wrenching dialogues and scenes. The book is a definite page turner. I rate this book 5 Stars.

typical Jojo book but heart wrenching story
Makes you feel very very sad . I feel sad for Will’s parents his sister and Lou. Will’s character sound selfish to me. I have always lovedMoyes books but this one - not so much for all the pain it gives
