I bought these as teaching aids to help my kids learn about different animals. Concepts are so much easier for them to grasp if they can hold and play with the animals they're leaning about, rather than just reading about them in a book. The animals are well crafted, the pieces have been nicely painted and they're fairly detailed which helps them look more realistic. They also have their names on the underside in case you need help identifying what they are. Most of the pieces in this set stand up on their own fairly well, although some are a little wobbly.The only thing I find a little cumbersome is the tube itself. While it's great for storing, it's compact size and odd shape makes it difficult to get the animals in and out - the rope handle also seems to get in the way. Other than the somewhat troublesome tube, the animals in this set are great and I will definitely be buying more of these collections.

I have brought safari Toobs before, insects and animals. the quality is amazing and the packaging is really nice also.very durable and realistic, my son loves these and a great way to educate him on appreciation of other living creations by God.As he is fascinated by lions, tigers, cheetahs I decided to get him this great collection of Big Cats. Great idea and value deal, could not have asked for a better product/idea.Safari Ltd should also do one on wolves and other similar grouped animals.

We got four of the same cat in the box. We were missing the other ones which my daughter really wanted. And there is no option to return or replace item.

We bought a large selection of these for "potty" prizes for my little girl. She loves her animals and loves these little toys. These animals are small, only about two inches, and have the detail you would expect for the price. If you are expecting heavy, highly detailed items you will be disappointed - these are little plastic animals. One notable "flaw" is these animals have no relative size (so the ocelot is the same size as the tiger). They've taken quite a beating without falling apart as well.

We like very much Safari toys for our 6 year-old daughter because of the quality, shape, colors, and because on each figure it is its name. However, this was not the case (about the name): Almost 6 or 7 of the 10 cats do not have the name on it and they seem to be of lower quality as the rest of them. She loves jaguars and panthers, but exactly those two do not have the name of it. We are having fun with them and the toy is very nice, except for the names. I would recommend it.

I ordered this for my grandaughter, but they weren't as large or detailed as I'd hoped. I went back and ordered the larger versions, which are expensive, but very detailed and life-like. The smaller ones are fine for general play, but not for "collecting", which is what I wanted to begin with.

Just right! The little girl I babysit loves cats, and has the matching toob of regular cats. She'll be thrilled to get these. We love looking at the bigger single animal models, but they're so expensive. These are less detailed, but she's still thrilled by them.

Tube has only 5 different cats instead of 9 as displayed in product pictures, lots of duplicates. I still need to look for the others with other brands. Thanks.
