Love this product, do not love how shipping is handled.
I have been using black and white face paint for YEARS for a specific character/look that wear for various events and celebrations, having run the gamut of greasepaints, creams, foundation sticks, and so on. This brand was recommended to me by a professional body painter, and has been my far-and-away favorite ever since. Very easy to apply once you figure out the proper consistency/wetness for the cake and loading a makeup brush, applies cleanly and evenly, layers well, dries quickly (especially with a fan aimed at the relevant area once applied), takes setting powders and sprays beautifully, and even dries securely enough that (once it is dry) quick, gentle applications of evenly highly contrasting colors can be made on TOP of layers without smudging or mixing. The opacity is excellent - I have never needed more than a single layer of black, though white usually gets a second pass after the first layer has dried.I have (with setting powders and sprays) worn this product for upwards of 8 hours with little to no touch ups required; in extremely active and dry conditions, some cracking and flaking may occur, especially if it is applied thick - but it's nothing that can't be fixed by misting a bit of water, or taking a clean, moistened brush and 'smoothing' the product back out. It has held up to dancing, direct contact through hugs and kisses, (careful) eating and drinking, etc.In terms of ease of removal, it DOES require soap, water, and some mild abrasion - but compared to oil/grease-based products and cream, it comes off like a dream. I have my removal routine down to less than 10 minutes; generously apply a cold cream and massage it to break up the face paint, use one warm+wet wash cloth lathered with a foaming facial cleanser to wipe the bulk off in large strokes, then a second warm+wet with just water to remove the remainder. I then wash my face as normal, and use cotton pads or puffs with micellar water, and apply skincare as normal after. After this last october where I was putting on a full face 2-3 a week, I had finally used up just about all of my white (after a year of use doing full-coverage face paint 2-10x a month depending, as well as doing makeup for 1-2 friends per event), I wanted to get a full replacement pot of the 90g white before a big event at the end of this month. The first pot I was sent arrived in an unpadded paper envelope along with a book that was ordered as a gift; the plastic container is very brittle, and the lid as well as the threading for it on the jar was shattered. I was mostly just glad the product isn't liquid, as it would have ruined the book with very little time for a replacement before the holidays. The replacement pot that I ordered arrived in an unpadded box with plenty of room to bounce around. While the lid was intact, the screw-on bottom was cracked; it SHOULD be secure enough that I don't think I'll have to worry about leaks when adding water to the pigment cake to activate it, but I'm keeping the empty container from my last pot just in case I need to transfer product over, as I need to be able to take it on the road for certain usages. If you need face paint, I definitely recommend this brand over everything else I have ever tried; but I also advise that you order it at least a month in advance in case it comes broken, and because the replacements do not come quickly with no guarantee that replacements will arrive intact.

Wolfe black and white are the best I've tried!
As a professional face painter for over 5 years I can tell you that no face paint is perfect. The draw back with me for Wolfe is that you have to figure out what the perfect amount of water, sometimes I'm swooshing my brush around in the pallet for a while just to spread out the excess water I used. Other times I feel like I'm constantly dipping my brush in the water. This may be because I'm painting outside as well. The huge plus is that it goes on very smoothly, i wouldn't trust any other brand for fine outlines and white highlights. It is more vibrant on darker skin than kryolan or paradise. The painters I work with have always used stacking containers for their paints, so it is very smart that the Wolfe paint cakes come in containers that already stack together, eliminating the need to ever put paints in a different container.

Good quality!
Shipped fast; part of the lid was cracked, luckily on a part that didn't matter, but some bubble wrap in the packaging would've helped prevent this.I had gotten a palette of Wolfe face paints a while ago, so I knew that the quality would be good. I had tried Ben Nye and a water based body/face paint and both weren't opaque enough and cracked after only an hour. These are EXTREMELY opaque, even with just one layer, which is fantastic! I haven't tried this one on for longer than to test it out but my experience with other Wolfe paints is that they stay on well. I can't wait to use it!

Best White paint on the market.
I love this paint. I've tried all the white paints and this white has the perfect opaqueness for going over darker colors. Love it!👍💖

Great for line work.
This is by far the best white I have ever used. I have tries several other brands. This brand is exceptional for line work. It goes on smooth and stays crisp even over saturated colors. This is not the best for bases. It is very thick and hard to get to a smooth even base. Cheaper brands are better for bases. This is usually really hard to find, and for good reason. It is the best! If you are looking for a white for line and detail work, look no more! Wolfe F/X is the way to go!

Stayed on forever
I was able to do an AWESOME clown face and it stayed on all night! I just needed to do a few coats for it to look this white and then it didn’t go on so evenly having to do so many coats but wow it stayed on well and was easy to take off with makeup wipes!!!
