Stylish and reliable LED light bulb
Good value and it looks great with our lamp shade. Warm white colour, bright enough to shine 1/4 of my living room (around 200sq ft). Philips is famous for their well built light bulbs, so probably won't have much issue with that in long run. The chrome top looks stylish as well. It did not heat up the area around the bulb, it is energy efficient.

useless to me
By useless I mean these bulbs were replacements for old 100 watt halogen in ceiling lights. By old I mean 35-40 years. Halogens worked fine but LED did not. WHY? well the base of the LED's where it makes electrical contact is Flat whereas the base of the Halogens have a "nipple" so penetrate further so make contact. So what to do. I have left these with an electrician who is soldering a nipple on the base of each LED. Moral if you have old light fittings like ours LED bulbs may well not work without modification. Apparently all E27 Halogens are the same, God knows why!!

Perfect for outdoor uplighters that you wish were downlighters
I've fitted these to a set of Steinel L115 outdoor globe lanterns. The L115 is a "globe-on-the-top" design, as a result it throws a lot of light skywards. These crown lamps cut that drastically, reflecting it back down to the garden path where it belongs. The L115 dims the lamp on and off, and the Philips bulb handles this perfectly, whereas non dimmables may flash or flicker into life instead.

Lasted 13 months. Not heavily used.
Like many others have noted: this bulb doesnt last. I had mine for just over a year. Over the dining table. Not heavily used. Lasts less time than the old filament lamps which lasted abt 3 yrs. Im not even on a dimmable switch. Disappointed.

One to avoid.
I bought this expensive bulb for my dining room light. It was very nice for the first half an hour, but then the light dimmed. If I turned it off then back on, the light was back to how it was.It was nothing to do with the light fitting itself, this is completely new and fitted a few weeks ago by an electrician. He did check it for me and said the bulb was faulty.I have since bought some different bulbs and they work perfectly. I have also realised that the first bulb was never as bright as it should have been, even when first switched on.

Good Brightness and Warm Colour
I use Philips throughout the house; mainly GU10s. All the latest models work well and this mirror cap version is no exception. Dimming is smooth across range with no flicker. Ofcourse, they do need to be paired with a compatible LED friendly dimmer

Nice bright and warm bulb, dimmable
I looked for a bright and dimmable LED for playing piano. This one works perfect, Simms down a lot and the silver reflector helps with it being to bright in the eye if we sit down...Also nice warm light

Don't last
Nice bulbs, while they work. But they die out very quick and do not last anywhere near the number of hours advertised. Very expensive for the lifespan
