Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops SWA25 7.8in High Carbon S.S. Folding Knife with 3.3in Clip Point Blade and Aluminum Handle for Outdoor, Tactical, Survival and EDC

I have quite a few S&W but this one seems different. Now, if your a knife snob please disregard this review... this knife is not for you. Also, it's Chinese so no need to read further if you object to that. But if you're someone wanting a good functional knife to abuse for a few years and then purchase another... listen up!The first thing that impressed me was the comfort of this knife. It is contoured perfectly and the checkered rubber scale coating makes it very grippy. The liners are thin giving it enough strength without too much weight... only 3.2oz. It has the typical nylon washers but they are smooth and hold the blade tight. No play at all and it is perfectly centered and tightly retained when closed. The flowing open pillar design is simple and makes this knife easy to clean. There is thumb jimping on the scales which is okay but not the best... I added some grip tape on the blade spine which really gets a grip! There is a generous lanyard hole and the pivot pin has torx fasteners on both sides for adjustment. The deep carry clip is solid but not too tight. I like that.The blade comes out with use of thumb studs and can be flicked open easily if that's your preference. Thumb stud is easy to get at for lefties also! The lock up is very good. The liner lock is a bit on the thin side but locks solid and operates smoothly... easy one handed operation. The Chinese stainless blade has a traditional shape and came acceptably sharp but please sharpen to your liking... it's easy. It's a hollow grind with relief edge. The entire knife is black except for the edge and lettering on the blade. Very good looking.All this is good but the best part is the street value of 10 bucks! I don't see how anyone could complain about this knife for the price. It's a no brainer... just buy one, use the heck out of it and buy another when it's destroyed. Or, buy 2 or 3 right off the bat. This one's a keeper!

Very sharp and durable. Perfect knife to keep in your pocket. Hasn’t ever jammed up. Works great. Very safe.

Love this knife - it is always in my pocket. It flicks out as fast as a switch blade, has a keen edge that sharpens well, and is a good size that fits comfortably in the pocket but is big enough to be useful for all sorts of things. Great value at this price!!

Overall, this is a durable and functional knife with great performance for the price. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the blade action takes some breaking in, but otherwise, it’s a fantastic tool. Highly recommended!

Can’t go wrong with a s&w. That’s my daily knife. Slick and easy to open/close

Rubberized grip is very comfortable, knife is razor sharp and supposedly is good steel, i will follow up

Build is good, blade is pretty sharp, but I don't know why mine has such a dull and rounded tip, gonna spend some time with a whetstone. I wished they did a better job at it.
