OMA NY: Search Term

OMA NY is a great firm, one that I look to for inspiration as an architecture student. There is much you can learn from this book, however, the formatting is not conducive for analysis of their work. Most of the pictures provided are too small, and texts on these smaller images are impossible to read. I even got out a magnifying glass to see if it would help, but the printing quality, while not awful, was not the best it could be, so the images were blurred enough that small text just becomes blobs. Also, just from skimming the book, I already caught a few typos, which is disheartening to see. I think this book is one that would almost have been better as a kindle/ ebook, because then you can at least zoom into the images with better quality. Overall, great content, it's just not formatted in the best way it could have been.

An intelligently refreshing take on the “monograph”. It’s seemingly impossible to read/trace through its density the same way twice, as you discover and rediscover of the work and process behind the projects of OMA’s New York arm. So energetic and unexpected.

What a fun way to see the life behind the architectural practice and a diverse range of projects. An epic tome to serve as a source of inspiration for Architects and non-Architects.
