Preliminary Review
We've had several different brands of E-Collars throughout the years (for AmStaffs) -price ranging from $35-$250; and Invirox® E-Collars are an exceptional Collar. And I believe that any one looking into purchasing an E-Collar should give Invirox® an opportunity to prove that their desire to serve your pets and you with integrity and genuine desire to offer Quality services and products is 110,000% above board! Before I get into Pros, let me share the only "Cons" I see:1. Remote is not water proof. Which is not big deal since I can put it in my Pelican Marine Series (IP68 Waterproof) case (sold on Amazon for less than $30!), and save a lot of money -when I consider how much it would cost Invirox® to make Waterproof Remotes, and that that cost would be passed on to us. So, overall this should not be a deal killer -it isn't for me, anyway.2. Before I expound on this one, let me say that I've spoken with Invirox® about this, and was told: "It is something we are looking into doing in our next iteration..." ) In other words, they're aware of it, and are listening to their customer's desires, and are addressing it -not merely saying "Sorry but, it is what it is!"And finally, I was given a suggestion to help remedy the issue, and it works pretty good. So don't let this dissuade your decision to try it -they have really given us the best of both an INEXPENSIVE product, with PROFESSIONAL qualities! Now for the "Con." It Beeps when turning it Off.The issue with that is that the Sound of Beep is similar to the sound given from a Warning tone of this and other E-Collars. So, when you're turning it off, the dog hears it, and immediately stopped doing what it was doing (even eating it drinking), and comes running to you, confused and unsure of what it did 'Wrong.' NOT GOOD!I learned that if I put my thumb over the speaker (easily identifiable on the back of the receiver -between the Prongs), that it will muffle the sound. And after trying it -as I watched the pups response, I found it to be an adequate Hack to remedy the issue. As the pup didn't even respond, because, though she heard it, she didn't hear the Intensity she was accustomed to hearing; and as everyone knows, dogs' heading is extremely acute, and they can indeed distinguish the slightest of differences in sounds. So, while I will be using the Hack, this E-Collar, in it's current status, still warrants continual usage. NOTE: In time, the pup will learn to ignore the "Con"and that won't even be an issue. But it is an issue you may liked to be aware of, so you're not surprised by it!Now for the juicy stuff -the "Cons."(Now would be a good time to grab a coffee or take a bathroom break before you continue, because you're going to Love this! I did!)1. Easy to Pair!2. Easy to Set!3. Remote is easy to Use. It is also sized/shaped close enough to a cellphone, I had the idea of getting a Phone case with a belt clip attachment for ease of carrying and overall use!4. The Remote goes to Sleep but wakes up really easy. Which saves the battery.5. The Remote offers Quick and Easy transfer from one dog to another: just push a Button. No Holding the button, and Waiting for it to Switch. No Switch to flip, that is easy to hit and switch without User knowledge. 6. The Tones: There are a Variety of different Tones offered -as well as levels of Intensity of their Sound. This is cool because it enables you to Train each dog with their Own specific 'Cue.' Which allows you to be able to Correct your dog without telling the whole world you're doing it.7. Every Corrective Level can be changed without pushing this button, then that button; all the while your dog is (or could) be in Need of Instant Correction -while you keep your eyes on it!For example: Your outside exercising your dog -and of course, covertly working on their training; and all of a sudden it spots something, and takes off after it. You hit the Warning, then the Vibration, and finally the Zapper... Nothing! Your dog's got tunnel vision, and is zoned in that object; oblivious to anything else. Well, instead of having to go through multiple steps to increase the level of Zap, which takes precious time, you simply hit the prominent Level Adjusting button, and your able to increase it Fast... Then do what needs to be done! Dog stopped and coming back without harm! What normally takes a moment, is now accomplished instantly -more or less, compared to the Others.8. Another thing I liked is that, while the Collars are the same Color, I liked how the actual Receiver has different colors. Which I didn't notice until After I put some acrylic paint on the clip of one of them! 😂9. The Rubber Prong sleeves have Tiny Nubs on them. Allowing the effectiveness of the Prong to get past the Fur and actually make Contact with the skin. Also allowing the collar to not have to be on That snug -like them Typical rounded ones!10. The Customer Service is phenomenal -even on Sundays! I sent an email to them, inquiring about whether the Collar Tone could be changed to Vibrate, when I turned it off; thinking they'd get back to me in Monday. But much to my (pleasant) Surprise, I got a response within a few hours. 😲11. Everyone that loves their pet, and is concerned about the Intensity of the Minimum level of 'shock,' (which I consider to not be a Shock, as much as it is a 'Nip.' But I won't get into semantics.I will however say this: Invirox® has the Lowest level of Intensity I've ever had!Point: (1) My older dog -a 75# Male Red Nose AmStaff from Gator lineage, is well accustomed to E-Collars, and pretty thick skinned. The 'Shock' level on his old Collar was at a 9-10; but on this Invirox® collar, it's on a 4/5.Now, here's the real meat and potatoes... My 8 month old 45# AmStaff, also a Red Nose out of Gator lineage, is a newby to E-Collars. The first time I nipped her On Level One of her first and only Other (old) Collar, she literally jumped like a bronc and screamed like a banshee...She eventually got somewhat more accustomed to it, to where she wouldn't scream; but she still jumped and ran around, not knowing wth was going on -and to this day, she Still refuses to go to the area where she first got nipped!Well, with Invirox's® collar, she responds, but she doesn't jump. Nor did she get panicked about it like the Old one: she's on level 2! (I use that slightly higher level, because I use the Nip as a Chastisement in order to teach them that disobedience has consequences they won't like. And it teaches them to Obey The Tone... So, while it's a comfort to know the Nip is available, it's even more comforting to know that I can now, FINALLY, use the E-Collar to it's fullest ability and actually Train them with it; without their (a) being afraid of the collar, and (b) distracted from their training.I know this is a rather long Review, and it's not my common type to leave. But this E-Collar setup warrants it!I highly recommend it -HIGHLY!

Amazing support
I have a three year old long haired German Shepherd, Blu, and he’s 110 pounds. The collar fit him perfectly with room to spare. There is PLENTY of adjustability and customizable parts in this kit. It’s like going to an Italian restaurant with 100 menu items. I was a bit overwhelmed when unboxing. I felt special when I saw a plastic VIP card with my own VIP number for the company to identify each kit. So tasteful. It’s clear that this kit is designed by dog trainers and not some crap you find at PetSmart outsourced from China. They thought of everything when implementing what you receive. They make sure you have the best experience and ease of use when buying their product. Wonderful.1. Two different collar types.- A bungee, which I found difficult to take on and off, but I see why some people would prefer it. It was a hassle trying to use the screws in my opinion as I had to get some plyers to hold one side and tighten with a flathead screwdriver on the other side.- Normal plastic clip/fabric with tasteful reflective stitching (which I preferred). No tools required to use this attachment method.2. Lanyard for transmitter- Wrist strap. I found it was not the most practical solution for having easy access to your transmitter. I do not personally want to hold the transmitter in my hand and have it dangle from my wrist when not in use. Again, personal preference.- Neck lanyard (my favorite) I feel like a professional dog trainer wearing the transmitter this way. It creates convenient access when I need it. Not having to keep it somewhere in my pocket, having full access to both my hands when not in use, and slinging it behind my back when I need to bend down and give Blu pets is a win for me.3. Prong length adjustment.- The longer prong is I would say about 3/4 of an inch, I did not have to shave Blu down. Even with his long hair I did not need to get past a level 10/99 on the shock for him to respond immediately, then 8/16 on the vibration.- They include this adorable tool with a wrench cutout unscrew the short prongs installed out of the box and switch to the longer prongs. It has two wires attached to an LED so you can test that the prongs are working properly. Again, so tasteful.4. Charging- Okay… a micro usb to USB-A connection… for a 2023 model of a product. Disappointing given the fact I plan on using this daily. My crappy Chinese headlamp uses has USB-C, and that does not nearly match the quality or pride INVIROX takes in their product. Again.. a bit disappointing. I would gladly buy the 2024 model if they came out with USB-C charging capability for the transmitter and collar.- The rubber cover for charging port on the collar is held on by… a metal Phillips screw? I don’t see that lasting given the fact that it’s holding down rubber. Over time I see the rubber tearing from this design mistake, especially since you cannot turn it completely out of the way for charging. Instead it rests at a stressful 90 degree angle along the charging wire, putting more stress on the joint where the metal screw and the rubber meet. Having the rubber go into a plastic ball joint socket to allow the cover to swivel completely out of the way would be such a better design decision. Again, my $15 headlamp even does that. This is my first time buying or using an e-collar to incorporate into my training. I don’t write reviews often but I was absolutely blown away by this company’s pride and product support. Not to mention how great of a deal it is for the quality and amount of support with instructional videos offered to get you through each step of ownership. I highly recommend you check out the INVIROX YouTube channel before purchasing to make sure you’re buying this collar for the right reasons. This is only for responsible dog owners with respect for their dog and their training tools. This was not to punish my dog, but to effectively communicate. I thought the prong choke training collar was a game changer when I could finally walk with him without being pulled down the street. Now I’ve taken my training to a new level with this tool. I use the beep like a clicker to communicate a good behavior, and the vibrate for correcting a behavior or action. Use the electric shock only if you want your dog to be terrified of whatever you are shocking them for. You want to make sure the message is abundantly clear for why you use each of the three functions because you can cause some serious confusion between you and your dog if used incorrectly. It really hurt Blu’s feelings when I did the shock, but it did not HURT HIM! It is simply a matter of using stimulation to communicate a message. I put the prongs on my forearm at level 10/99 and you sure can feel it, but I didn’t go throwing the transmitter across the room like I got shot with a taser. For the love of God, please do not go turning this thing up to 99 on the first training session. Bump it up gradually until your dog responds if you so choose to use the shock function. The vibration communicated to Blu enough to the point I will only use the shock in the event of an emergency.Enjoy training your pet! I know I have extensively and this is a wonderful tool to have under my belt as I continue my journey with Blu.

I bought a 2nd!
Update: this collar works so well and I have seen such a positive change in my boxer in a short amount of time that I decided to get one for my other dog. She listens a lot better than him normally, but she’s bad about barking at people and other animals and will recall right away when there’s others she doesn’t know around. These collars are turning my dogs into everything I knew they could be. I was SO against shock collars but I did more research because I was desperate and I am so glad I gave it a chance. You most likely will not ever even have to use the shock feature but once. This training collar is amazing! I have a 75 pound boxer that really struggles being over stimulated by every bird, squirrel and blowing leaf and his recall has been awful. He also recently discovered he could jump the 5’ fence into my neighbors yard so I had no choice but to try a training collar. I first bought another pretty popular brand, starts with an J, and it did nothing at all. Not even the shock feature, he didn’t react at all and I tried all settings. I wanted a collar that I wouldn’t have to use the shock except if it was an emergency he was trying to go over the fence. This collar works so great that just the sound and vibrate does the trick. I am so thankful that in just 2 days of using this training collar he is already recalling much better. I have been using key words before the sound or vibration and it’s only taken these couple days where he listens as soon as he hears the word. I can’t tell you how much less stressful my life has gotten and I am so thankful! Please Don’t just buy to use as punishment. You have to use it as a training tool and it will work.
