Oklahoma Sound Portable Presentation Lectern, Mahogany

So, first I'll tell you that two guideholes were slightly off on the bottom of the reader surface. Erica with Oklahoma Sound was fantastic, we spoke shortly on the phone, I sent her images of my concerns (they like all companies need verification, for themselves and for insurance, etc...) and they are sending me a replacement.Now, besides the fact of the misaligned holes, this unit is VERY sturdy, in fact more than I'd hoped it would be, I'm confident the replacement will be fine.Reviews on similar products mention how their product is not very stable (not Oklahoma Sound, another company) so, I was hoping this would be, IT IS! It's construction is fantastic. I'm an Orthodox Christian, do my thrice daily prayers and often need somewhere to rest a book(s), no longer an issue. I'm sure I'll love using this for a long time.Frankly, besides it being a great product, their fine customer support won me over. It's VERY difficult these days to find competent support, and companies that will stand by their product. So, if that is ever your concern, trust me, they are there to help.BRAVO!

I bought this to use in two classes I facilitate so, I carry it from my car to one. Then I put it back in my car, go to a different location and do the same thing. I used to use a music stand that was available but that was hard on the arms if you rest them on the front edge. This one has a wider curved front edge so it's much more comfortable for that. It's heavy-duty without being difficult to carry. It adjusts easily. The metal legs and post are very strong so no worries about the getting bent, and the top is attractive in terms of edging and vernier. I'm very pleased with it and the price was very reasonable. It was easy to assemble, as well. The only thing I would have liked that it doesn't have is the ability to tilt the top to different angles. Other than that, it's great.

Shipped quickly, and installed with zero problems. Great for our church Bible Study service.

I really like the overall usefulness of this. I'm a teacher and this is so convenient for me to teach from. It's lightweight but still durable. The quality of the wood top looks great as well. The only 2 issues I have are even after screwing everything together snug, the bottom portion where the feet criss-cross is still a little wobbly and you can't really lean on it...my students like to hang on it (regardless of how many times I've asked them not to) when they stand at it, and the top portion slides down causing deep scratch marks. Other than that, it's great and gets the job done without being a huge waste of space

I was more than just surprised at this product for this price. Stunned is the correct word. The lectern is easy to put together in 4 simple steps. The instructions are clear, with colored diagrams, and written by a native English speaker who has thought through how to assemble the product. The quality control of the parts appears to be exceptional and the completed lectern is solidly constructed, easily balanced, and easy to adjust. It is just the right weight to transport easily and can be quickly broken into two pieces. The Mahogany finish is also very attractive.

The lectern looks nice and it was quite easy to assemble, but as others have said it wobbles. There seems to be no way to make it sit level on any floor and I've had several other people also try. The size suits my needs and it's not so heavy that I can't fairly easily carry it, but the wobbling is quite an issue. I considered returning it, but that would mean disassembling and boxing it, which I'd rather not do, but I also don't want to waste the money I spent. I'm going to try to get a couple more opinions on possible ways to add something to the bottom of it to somehow make it stand level and not move before making a final decision before the cutoff date.

I was impressed by the quality of the stand, this is not a cheaply made product, you can tell it is very well made. It is very light weight easy for a 5'4 female to carry from room to room. I put it together in about 15 minutes. Instruction were super easy to read and everything you need to put together comes with the stand (no screwdriver needed). I placed my laptop to show how spacious it is. I expeceted the top to be smaller but it is the perfect size. Highly recommend this product

This is a nice stand that adjusts very well for different heights, and firmly holds those heights. It is more of a portable unit so I wouldn't necessarily recommend leaning on it, but it holds a notebook or a couple legal pads side by side well enough. The lip is high enough to easily hold pencils, remotes, etc., but not high enough to stack two thin books without the top one possibly sliding off onto the floor.The construction of the lectern itself is pretty simple (yes, you have to put it together). I believe it has everything you need to put it together included. Again, the pieces seem to be a very high quality and very sturdy.
