The coconut oil is lovely. Nice and clean looking and smelling (some other reviews questioned these aspects). The flavor is neither completely neutral nor overtly coconutty - perfect for an all-around oil that I use for sautéing and baking. The large container works well for me, as I pull out a smaller amount and keep that in a jar near my stove, but getting the product out of the large bucket is very accessible and easy. I'm very happy with this product and the price!

I had been searching for a great deal on some quality coconut oil and was glad to come across the 8 pound bucket from Kevala. After ordering, it arrived within three days! The lid was a little difficult to open, requires tools. I've seen some reviews about it tasting like petroleum or plastic. They batch that I had received tastes purely of coconut, which is great because I use it for oil pulling. Also has a nice strong coconut scent.

I've bought coconut oil maybe five times now, each a different brand. I have yet to find any variation in quality whether I buy it from the cosmetics section or grocery section. I have found however, that I prefer getting it in the bucket style container instead of the jar style that it comes in from the grocery section. The main reason is because it's easier to scoop out the amounts I want from the bucket style but the fact that I can find many uses for the bucket after it's empty doesn't hurt either, and makes the slightly higher price worth it.

Good coconut oil. Velvety smooth like the ones from Wilderness Family Naturals and Nutiva we've tried. We use it in cooking and their is no strong coco-nutty flavor that gets imparted to the food, so it's good for frying or sautéing. All in all good coconut oil.We also use it as a skin moisturiser of which it works great.

I just received this product but I'm very disappointed in the packaging. Lots of plastic wrap around the container and messy. Almost looks like someone tampered with it prior to being sent out. Have not used it yet but the oil looks white and clean.

LOVE IT ! Admittedly it isn't quite the quality of my old Coconut Oil , but its still a very good product and is 1/3 the price of the Coconut Oil I was using ! I use it in all of my skin and hair care products with great results and I'll continue using it in the future .

This product is pretty good. It has a coconutty flavor which is mild flavoring. We use it for cooking almost everything on the stove, and even add it to other foods instead of butter. It is very good for pancakes, grits, oatmeal, chicken, quesadilla, and the list goes on. Very good deal and product.

I received refined coconut oil. Virgin coconut oil has an iridescent appearance and distinct flavor and this was NOT that, even tho the label said so. Very disappointing. The one before this order had a weird yellow hue in the bottom. I had many good purchases of this brand until recently. I hope they will return to the high quality product they used to sell
