A Creative and Effective Solution For A Cluttered Work Area
Discounted or free itemis it good or bad?I'll make the provider/authoreither happy or sad..........a sometimes even mad.If your work area looks anything like mine -- and I hope that it doesn't -- it's always difficult to find new space to store additional items that you reach for often and that need to be close. Previously I kept several sets of headphones in a drawer close to my computer set-up but I was always worried that I might damage them when pulling them out to use and then putting them away. Headphones aren't constructed to absorb any type of abuse and I'd hate to ruin any of them if they became wrapped around anything in my cluttered drawers. When this JOTO Headphone Stand became available it immediately got my attention. The design looked interesting and it appeared to be a pretty good solution to my problem. It is made of a soft and flexible silicone material and mounts underneath a desk or a shelf, making previously unused (and wasted) space productive. I wouldn't really call this a headphone "stand", instead it should be labeled a headphone "mount" or "hanger". Mounting it is a simple matter of removing the covered part on the sticky 3M adhesive material and placing it under your desk or shelf.I was a bit worried about how sturdy this would be but JOTO anticipated this problem and has provided one small hole close to each end of the mounting plate so that you could use small screws or nails to make the mount stronger. The other potential problem was whether or not the mount would stay attached when repetitively removing and replacing the headphones. That is where the flexibility of the silicone design shines. Instead of having all the torque generated by pulling the headphones off transferred to a rigid mount, causing it to fall off, the mount itself flexes and thereby disperses most of the torque and keeps it from transferring to the mounting plate. Good thinking!i posted a picture below to show how the mount handles both my Audio-Technica Bluetooth headphones and my Koss Pro4S Studio headphones. Time will tell if I have to take the extra step of screwing the mounting plate in, but in the meantime both sets of headphones are handy and efficiently stored. This is a very effective solution for only $11.99.

(UPDATE May 2020) This Works Exactly as I'd Hoped it Would. Sticks Solidly With The 3M Tape Alone.
(Begin UPDATE May 2020) The 3M Velcro tape held for a maximum of 6 Months. Which isn't bad considering it was holding 2 Headsets. I eventually got tired of sticking new Velcro Tape under the desk for the Holder, which ended up in a drawer. But today, I finally drove 2 screws into the holes provided for that purpose. It's not going anywhere now :)I'm glad I've got it back because I missed it a lot. And, I Know it won't fall off anymore :D4 Years later and this holder made my day again! This is GREAT for keeping Headsets or other things out of the way by hanging them under the desk.(End UPDATE)This works perfectly for the two headsets I use every day. This is soft rubber instead of hard plastic.I think I like that it gives a little bit, making it easier to pull off either one of the headsets.I have a lightweight headset on one side, and a heavy, surround-sound headset on the other. It holdsboth of them equally well.I didn't have to screw this into the underside of my desk. The included 3M double sided tape has beenholding it on tightly for the past two months. I suspect it will still be stuck to my desk for a very long time,it feels that solidly attached. This works perfectly for keeping my two headsets out of the way, yet quite close to hand, keeping themavailable for the moment I need one of them, and was just what I had in mind when I bought it.Perfect form and function, keeps my desk uncluttered and my headsets available. All at the right price.

Good hanger, good price
Hangs both my headsets and a 3.5mm cord with ease. Only problem with it was the adhesive not being strong enough. It's possible that I didn't let it cure long enough, but I did have to reinforce it with some super glue.

Yup, worth the buy for less table clutter
Chiming in with several others in agreement with this being a solid value/product. Though I was skeptical about the 3M taping being used to secure the hook, I have to say it's performing quite well a week in. Granted, I did more than just peel and slap in place, as with any adhesive of this sort prepping the surface with a swipe of rubbing alcohol will insure the best possible bonding to occur. Then I let it cure for a day before giving it a few pulls/pokes as one does with casual standard use and have to admit it's pretty solid.Something most other reviews haven't mentioned much is the nature of the screw holes so let me perhaps add a little extra info for those wondering about this part. From the picture its a little difficult to tell if one could screw this puppy in cleanly or not, since the arms of the hooks are directly over the base. The magic happens with how flexible the arms are, they're not in the least flimsy but they are bendable to where driving in a screw is easily done just by pulling the arm down to seat the screw, and then while driving it the arm will give enough around the driver to let you seat the screw firmly in place. The arms are actually fairly resilient to where I wasn't in the least concerned with bending them down enough to drive a screw should I one day have to do so.

The item was easy to attach to the underside of my computer desk ... <-- See update
Made out of a flexible hard Silicone material, the item was easy to attach to the underside of my computer desk and the adhesive seems suitably strong. I am currently using it to hold a pair of Sennheiser GSP 350 Headphones and also a TrackIR 5 Headset. The base does have two small holes that you can use for screws in to to mount for added stability but it does not come with any screws. I opted to just use the adhesive and so far its been strong enough to hold up.This is a great solution to desk bloat and I am pleased with this hanger.Update: After a few weeks, the base of the hanger broke free from the adhesive pad. I was able to use some superglue and reattach it but I would advise that you may want to use screws to attach this if its going to be holding delicate devices. Removing one star for this
