Very nice
This little kit is a very nice basic soldering kit. The torch itself is so quiet is hard to tell is working at first but it is and will get hot almost instantly. Extra tips and accessories are an awesome bonus, will look froward to using in locations in the field where there is no power.

Had to return the first one and second worked only once
There is a design flaw they need to work out. The first one they shipped didn't work, it refused to lite.I tried buying new butane and it still didn't work, I sent it back and the second one I received lit and got hot once and only once. You can hear gas coming out and see the ignitor sparking with fresh butane and it still wont lite. I gave up and disassembled the unit to try to figure out what is wrong so I can't return it. Most likely the issue is with the gas jet, not something a user can fix its a design flaw. If it worked it would be a great value, They give you a nice hardcase and interchangeable tips.

Gets the job done
Cheaper than snap on. Good kit for repairing automotive wiring

Good
Been using it for awile know and haven't had any problems with it, the gas is a pain to get into it and while doing so you loose some.

Heat up fast, weld very good, but too much power for me
Heat up fast, weld very good, but too much power for me. In my opinion it is a good solder, having 5 adapters, a way to suspend it while is hot, a cover, a concentrator for heat shrink, is what I like, I use too work as Avionics, and the way to work on airplanes on the ramp is with gas solder, plus the concentrator, you got it all for repair, solder wires or terminals. The down side is the flame controller, iit is too much, and the minimum setting still too hot. That may be a matter of adjusting the position of the adjusting ring of the valve, but the screw is too tight to loose it, so I end up expanding the cutout to let the controller close the valve better. No big deal. Over all I will recommend it.

Does not work out of the box
Looks like a very nice kit.......but it just won't work.I filled with premium butane and no gas comes out to ignite. I assume a faulty valve?I went back to see other reviews and noticed that I am not the only one to have this issue. Too bad. Will buy Power Probe version that I used for years before this one.

Works well, need some kind of stand ,fold up or or something to set it on while working.
Does the job , good heat. No place to set it down. No stand built-in or tray to set it onOtherwise works well.
