Perfect supplementary LED tank light
Add some washing up liquid to the suction cap lips and dry the tank hood to get a a great bond. It has doubled my light intensity at a low price. Slight concern is the housing is plastic rather than glass so cleaning off any limescale may be an issue without scratching. The cables provided are long probably at least 2m so location will not be an issue. The LEDs are half and half white and blue the inclusion of red LEDs would provide a better plant profile.

Good bright white day light, 60cm was a bight replacement for old 30" tube.
Bought this 60cm as a replacement for a 30" fluorescent daylight bulb/system in a fairly large deep tropical fishtank. In its day mode it's a brighter crisper light. I'm not sure if my fish find it too bright as they seem to be hiding a little more, saying that the colour of the light is good and picks out the fish colours well. Can't comment on plant stimulation or growth etc as I've not had it long enough.Night mode is dim and blue only enough just to see what's happening but I don't think I'll be using it much.I was hoping to position it separate from the older fluorescent setup so I had a backup if needed, but I found it fitted best where the old tube was, and needed to be centrally fitted to give best light/angle/saturation across the tank.I would of liked a brightness control, either choose how many rows on lights to have on etc. But that's being very picky. All in all a good buy. Just hope it lasts a while to warrant the higher initial outlay.

Great tank light
Arrived on time. Great product easy to install. Well packaged. Fish like the night light feature. Product was a good brand at a good price. The only down side more Algie was produced? But sorted with Algie remover from pet shop.

Bright and efficient LED conversion
On the whole, these lights are good fit for purpose, although I did have to return the first set I received as they were faulty. From an installation perspective, the lights have several ways to fit, including an underwater option I didn't try. The double-sided tape option does not work, nor did the suction method (into the lid, at least). However I had pretty good results with screwing it into the lid. What is a little problematic is that my Interpet tank has a piece of plastic that goes across the centre, which come into contact with the new light when the lid is placed on the tank.Features-wise, the lights have a night mode, but this is engaged only by physical switch. This means you cannot automate it. I have put mine on a smart plug to automate it, leaving the switch permanently on day mode. The lights are pleasant and attractive, with a cool temperature that works well for my tropical tank.

Bright
I ordered the 35cm light for my 60 liter 60cm tank .A few reviews that said they wish it had a dimmer. So this has worked out well for me .Plenty bright enough shows off the colours of my better and endlers definitely brings out the blues.gave it 4 stars as it does not have a dimmer ie 50% 75% setting .and still can't find the Watts. Seen some comment in qa but does not say what size that is for. so I think it's 4 or 5 Watts but no literature stats this.cant give it 5 stars for that reason. And the recommendation for the 45 cm for my 60cm tank would be too much light . Very easy to retrofit with screws provided. Great little light v happy.
