Churchill's Secret Messenger: A WW2 Novel of Spies & the French Resistance

I absolutely loved this book! I became so engrossed in the lives of Rose, Lazarre, the other SOE agents and the members of the French Resistance that I couldn't put the book down. The book brought out many different emotions and the feeling that this can never happen again!

I'll make this short - READ IT ! Great book has love, mystery and twists you don't see coming.Great author. Great writing style. Great book !If you enjoy reading about the Resistance may I suggest The Nightingale by Hannah or A Room on Rue Amelie by Harmel or The Secrets We Left Behind by Lane or A Fire Sparkling by Maclean or The Paris Secret by Lester and the Silk Code by Swift which is one of the best books I've ever read.

The main characters were so real that I could feel their emotions. This story is a work of fiction but depicts true and amazing events of bravery. Highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in history, love stories, action ,excellent writing with a happy ending.

I’ve read many WWII books so I wasn’t expecting a lot from this one, but was I ever wrong!This was a great read!!

If you enjoy historical fiction of the WWII era you will enjoy this book. At the end it explains that the story is based on history and actual events. It was easy to read and hard to put down. I highly recommend it.

I usually do read history stories but I bought this by chance and read it.I found it to be well written, a gripping story, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a book to give you a pleasant read that is also very thought making.

This was a great book. Some of the romantic pieces you could foreshadow what was going to happen. It was great historical fiction with some eerie themes that unfortunately are present day issues.

I liked the main character Rose, her compassion, her admirable determination to succeed in her role to liberate France from the enemy, and her courage. There was nothing I disliked.
