Pretty Solid, Good Value
Tried these out in lieu of Magpul BUIS on a .300 build. At present they’re my only sight system but might be back-up in the future. They worked great during my first outing. I’m a recreational shooter so Magpul poly sights are fine, but I wanted metal sights in case they wind up being my only sights for some time. I have some higher end Troy flip ups on another carbine and though these are not as beefy they’re more than adequate and lighter. Rear sight windage adjustments have a positive click suggesting they won’t move without actually turning and adjustment is via a tool-less thumb knob. Front sights seemed on. At 40 + yards without a rest and shooting casually while standing, the bulk of my shots hit a six inch target, which is fine for practical accuracy. Also purchased because from a US manufacturer who I can at least find for product support and/defect returns if necessary, unlike many of the other budget options sold on this site.Follow up a few months later…hitting a 33% sized steel torso at 75 yards, again just standing and putting middle of target on front post.

Great backup sight
I have the A2 front post so I wanted a good buis. This is such a good value, full metal with really good construction. Holds zero, and looks really appealing. Would recommend

Acceptable but could be better
Overall machine work and fit/finish is good. Three things stand out to me though in the first couple minutes handling it.The knob tension clicks for the peep adjustment is very soft and could get knocked around and loose zero. A paint pen dab will cure that for me but others may not want to have that additional worry. For the price I am happy. The cross-bolt is fully threaded. I never like to bolt full thread bolts onto picatinny because it can and will mar up the slot. Wish it was only threaded on the end like magpul. I may even fix this myself with hardware from the store. The main ball bearing that the entire sight rides up and down on is plastic. After manually popping it up and down a few times the plastic is wearing in/down against the metal. How many times will it cycle before it goes out of spec and fails? I like robust and bulletproof designs. Long term use worries me a little.

Great value.
Good quality for the price.

Great sight
Sight is solid, made out of metal, positive lock up, clean finish. I don't think the detent ball bearing is made out of plastic since it is marring the metal in contact, possibly some material harder than alluminium. Definitely will buy again!

Worth more then MSRP
Amazing sight especially for the money utg really stepped up with this rear sight right up there with troy and Midwest among a few other well known brands. They knocked it out simply put. Sturdy and simple

Really Great Piece...
has a true minimal rail take up by using just a single slot so using a torque wrench for 15-20 inch pounds would be ideal. don't try the "good n' tight" method. you'll end up with a snapped screw or a stripped out socket.took me all of 2 minutes to install and test and it sits right and locks up solidly.i highly recommend this item.
