Love it. I play inside and outside which is cool. The kids like it too. The adults have a blast.

This game is a lot of fun. We got it for an outdoor activity for a birthday party along with a few other outdoor games. This was easy enough to play for adults and kids. Everyone enjoyed it and it stood up to the hours of play. it is very easy to assemble. You just have to put the cross pieces together then screw in the uprights. It took less than a minute. And it is made of wood so it was very stable. I am glad we got this game.We take it out often to play in our back yard. You can even set this up and play if you have a long hallway. The rubbery pieces that you toss are good quality but should not destroy everything if you use it inside. Also, with the colorful tossing pieces it was east to spot them in the grass when they landed off course. I would recommend this game if you are looking for some outdoor games.

We have only used this product a handful of times since it has been delivered, and so far it is holding up nicely.We purchased this item to be a part of our Redneck Olympic Games that we'll be holding monthly in our neighborhood starting in March :-)So far, the adults that have played on it have found it to be a fun - yet not unattainable goal - of making points by tossing the rings onto the pegs.I can see how some people might find this game to be a little hard for younger children because the pegs are fairly close together and the game itself is smaller than I thought it would be. My eight year old has played it a few times and he finds it to be fun and has scored some points, but younger kids might want to be closer to the unit.I also see how the middle peg could easily become warped over time if you plan on disassembling the unit every time you play. The middle peg that holds the 2 flat pieces that make up the wooden base is already a little flimsy after about a dozen uses. I plan on throwing some Gorilla wood glue in each of the holes and calling it good.I believe we're also going to put some sort of protective clear coat on it, in case the ground is wet when we play, just as a preventative measure to help it last longer.The rings themselves seem to be awesome. They are a hard plastic and I think they're going to end up lasting a lot longer than the actual wooden structure.

Kids absolutely loved playing with this

Horseshoes are nice. Base mat and indoor pin is nice. BUT - the hollow red plastic "dowels" for outside use? horrible quality - won't last long - doesn't match pictures. Those should be wooden, as the term "dowel" leads you to believe. C'mon Champion...

We are a big fan of lawn games and bought these instead of metal horseshoes because we often have kids in the yard and were worried about a metal horseshoe causing an accident. This is a great set of horseshoes and they are heavy enough that you can feel the balance of them when you toss them, but not so heavy that they will crack a skull open. The pins stay in the base well. The only con I can think of is they had a pretty strong rubber smell when we first got them, but they stay in the garage when not in use, so it really isn't a problem.

Looks easy but it takes practice. It's well made and every child goes up and says "how easy" and then find out it's not. Want to give your kids a lesson that tossing a ring on a coke bottle at the fair or carnival is not as easy as it looks? This worked out great at a family get together. From ages 3-50 everyone gave it a try saying "how easy"! It's not--but fun to watch every walk up to it and think they are going to get all the rings on it!--You can also take it apart again for storage in a small space! --Laurel

Concept is great. Horseshoes are lighter which is good for kids or tipsy adults. Problem with the stakes. The small stakes with the mat just get pushed over when the horseshoe hits it. The plastic ground stakes can get crushed if you use a mallet to drive them in the ground. All meant to be safe but can be damaged easily. Perhaps make the outside stakes a little stronger. Won’t be using the smaller stakes with mats. Other than that all good.
