Q: So many mixed reviews y'all i need help. are the locs medium or large? heavy or light? itchy and smell? how did you wash before and maintain?

I consider these to be medium to large. I put them in soak with vinegar and hot water for a few hours and I let them air dry before installing. They are a little itchy if your skin is sensitive.

Q: How do you maintain this faux locs crochet hair braids at night?

We highly recommend wrapping your crochet faux locs or soft locs at night. This will make your hair style last longer and keep it looking fresher for longer. You will need a satin or silk hair bonnet. Simply pop your hair in a bun or just pack it up with a hair tie or scrunchie and put your hair bonnet on.

Q: Are y'all using all 72 locs or have some left over?

I legit has 7 left. It’s enough - I honestly did my parting small - so there’s a lot on my head. But I damn near used every single one. I think there’s enough for a whole head. Just gotta space appropriately. I didn’t have any problems at all but I really did only have like 7 or 10 left.

Q: Can you cut this hair shorter?

Yes, you can. I did and it looked great when I did it. If you're not comfortable cutting it yourself I would recommend seeking out someone that can. I only cut it when I was ready to take it out but ended up leaving it in another 1 and half just because I liked how I cut it. I uploaded an image on my review if you want a look.. Hopes this helps☺
