Seems like most of the people giving negative reviews just had misplaced expectations - but this was exactly what I expected and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is a plastic cover to go under the cloth cover. It only covers the big part of the pillow, but it doesn't need to cover the rest because you're unlikely to get milk on that part. I find it essential to prevent milk from seeping into the pillow and making it stank. I have a pretty fast flow and good supply so either I get milk on the pillow or my baby spits up on it. It doesn't make the pillow crinkly or annoying, and it makes it easier to get the cloth covers on and off. The one disadvantage is that since the milk doesn't seep into the pillow it stays wet, but you can just take off the cloth cover and hang it up to dry (or wash it).I highly recommend getting this in advance to protect your pillow.

My first breast friend had mold on it and when I got a new one as a replacement this was suggested. Works great!

This is just a piece of plastic sized to fit the main part of the pillow. It is not a polyester material as description states.

I just had my second baby and am using my pillow from my first which the foam is ripping where the front meets the back, so I got this thinking the liner will hold it together when I have to wash the cover. The liner is just for the front half and ends right at the rip so not what I was hoping for at all.

I purchased this plastic cover to protect my nursing pillow, but I was surprised to find that it only covers half of the pillow (not the thinner part). It’s clear that the brand could design a cover to fit the entire pillow, so I don’t understand why this one doesn’t. While I won’t be returning it—it’s better than nothing—I think this limitation should be clearly stated in the product description. If it covered the entire pillow, this would easily be a 5-star product. Unfortunately, it only partially does the job, and I worry about my pillow potentially breaking at the thinner section without adequate support. For now, it’s 3 stars.

Exactly what I was looking for. A clear, waterproof cover to put on my nursing pillow, UNDER the cute cover it came in. I'm used to babies pooping out halfway through a nursing session so just trying to make my life easier and not have to wash the pillow again when that happens. It slipped on easily, will be able to wipe it clean if baby poops. Fit my breast friend pillow great!

It is made of clear plastic, but does exactly what it needs to do, protect the inner core. I would highly recommend this if you wanted to keep your pillow in good condition for many years.

This is designed to go UNDER the soft fabric cover to make it water proof. I like it. It will make changing covers for frequent washes easier.
