This has quickly become my favorite mat. Not only is it pretty to look at when I'm in downward dog, but I love that it has traction on both ends that I'm able to grip to better than most mats. My hands don't slip at all. The roughness is only on the top and bottom for about 8 inches, while the middle is soft so it's not snagging my clothes. The mat is on the thinner side, but I knew that from the description and it works for me. I will probably order another and I'm hoping there will be more prints in the future.

Looks great, high quality. Seems very durable. A little slippery for some poses. Heavier than any mat I've ever owned. Fantastic straps for carrying. Wonderful for ab work outs. Love to stare at the imagery while I seek my inner Zen

Maintains its curl a bit, but a nice thick mat that has held up with time. And the grippy texture is nice.

this is the perfect yoga mat! It is comfortable yet not so soft that you sink in and loose balance. It's honestly worth every penny.

I really want to love this thing. It is SO beautiful and soft. Perfect amount of padding, but I just cannot break this mat in. I have done about 30 minutes on this mat for the last 30 days and it is still super slippery. I'm still pretty new to yoga so maybe it's something I'm doing or not doing. I'm going to keep trying but I think I may have to get another mat. It actually has this plastic grip webbing stuff at the top and bottom that you can't really see in the photos and at first I was really excited about it but it is somehow more slippery and it makes it almost impossible to hold a downward dog.
