What? Don't have to wear my arm out pumping up the pressure? It is so easy & so much less fatiguing! The battery lasts a very long-time w/o needing to recharge. Maintains constant pressure and is adjustable. Maintains consistent spray rate and pattern. Expensive up front but very worth it if you spray large areas!

The first PJB-16 unit I ordered came in. Charged the battery. The first several uses, it kept turning off and beeping. I had to turn off the unit, then back on every time. I figured maybe it was defective, so I returned and had a replacement sent. It came in today. Once again, fully charged the battery. Turned it off, the pump stayed on. It would not turn off. No fluid would come out either when I pressed down the handle. Contacted support many times with no answer, just dead silence when selecting technical support.Other things to consider based on the first unit. You have to watch out when charging the battery, once it is fully charged you will have to disconnect it. It does not automatically stop. The fan nozzle is very uneven, it is almost dry towards the center. After turning the unit off and on many times due to it shutting off, I doubt the battery would last up to 8 hours. I sprayed 7 gallons and the battery meter was on the last light.I really tried to like this Jacto unit. For almost $400 and two bad units as well as no customer support. I would never recommend this company. Stay clear of it.

A lot of inexperienced users do not know how to prime the pump. I’ve been reading a lot of reviews of people complaining that the pump works, but nothing comes out. that’s because the pump will not pass any water unless it is primed properly. one way you can do it is to start by filling the tank with water, turn the pump on and then suck air through the tube to get the water to circulate through the pump, and I have not had to prime the pump since the initial operation. the pump is strong the batteries are great this is the best Backpack sprayerfor the money. I spray herbicide’s and fungicide for lawn care

Orderer this over night to replace a failing field king sprayer just as the pest pressure is picking up in my orchard. Coupler was shattered and rolling around in the box. The coupler was extremely under engineered....the control panel is not as pictured either they need to update their info and beef up the coupler.
