SYL Fitness Gym Replacement Cable Heavy Duty Steel Wire Rope for Home Gym Cable Pulley Machine Accessories

I purchased this for a total gym 1700. This was for the main cable. The original was about 91 inches and this was the closest I could find in size without having too much slack. It fits almost perfectly but there is a bit of tension on cables when the machine is at rest and at highest incline. The rubber stoppers on my machine are a little worn so I just placed a small 1/2 inch thick board to take off the tension. I have used it a few times and everything seems to be holding up well. My original cables lasted 20 years. For this price, if they hold up for half that long then I will be happy. I would recommend this as a good replacement cable.

I originally bought the 88" Version after reading a review from a customer with a Total Gym Fit. The Sliding Bench did was 2" short from the rubber stops. I added 7" for a little slack but not too much. Most replacement cables are 98"-102" and a bit long. After receiving the 95" custom length I installed it and it is the perfect length. A little slack but not too much. It is also one of the higher rated in weight allowed. I am very happy with the Purchase. Included the review so others could avoid my extra purchase. Nylon covering is also quieter than the original plastic covered cable!

I was buying this to replace a cable on my Bowflex to get a cable length to optimize range of motion for resistance.The only issue that I had was that the eyelets were a little to wide to feed through the pulley. I grinded off the edge of the eyelets just a little with my bench grinder works great. These may be perfectly compatible with other workout equipment. For the Bowflex you might need a slight adjustment.Overall Super happy.

Just as good as the cables that came with my home gym. I use it with a single pulley and olympic weight peg. No issues at all with up to 135 lbs. would def buy this brand to replace any cables that wear out.
