Burt's Guinness Chips - COMBO pack of Regular and Chili flavors

Great packaging to include both flavors!!!I like the plain version and spouse likes the other. I’ve just had the chance last weekend to mention these Guinness potato chips that I ordered from Amazon. Yes, I assured it included both flavors. I’m glad too ‘cuz we (spouse & me) can open both at the same time and see who gets finished first but not without stealing a chip from each bag - uh, “just tasting” , my reply ;)

I love the flavor of these chips.

Recently ordered the combo pack. Chips tasted as if they were left out at a humid picnic for a full day and then rebagged - not crunchy and stale tasting. Quite disappointed.

Chips were nice and crisp but the flavor was awfull

The chips arrived promptly and they were devoured in a couple of days. They had excellent flavour - I actually preferred the Chili - and were crispy, so they were fresh. All good.

These chips have a great flavor and crispy to bite into.

Was so excited when I found these on the internet for purchase here in the States, since I first tasted after buying them on a trip to Ireland after a tour of the Guinness Hops Brewery in the gift shop...have found that even though Guinness is world-famous for its beers, I don't really enjoy the taste (not a beer-lover in general, and found that Guinness did not convert me)...however, there was something about the subtle taste of these potato chips that I really did like the first time around (a 'bitters' taste, but not unpleasant, maybe with a touch of vinegar and spice thrown in), and wanted to try again. Possibly this is another example of the age-old story, that it's never as good as the first time...was similar in a way to how I remembered them tasting, but seemed more bitter this time around, with none of the original enjoyment or quirkiness of flavor. I suppose that I satisfied my curiosity, and my reminiscences are definitely not the same as the reality.
