I've experimented with this a bit at home, and I have to say what I like best about it is the size and that I could buy just the one - so many seemed to come in sets of different sizes which I wouldn't use? It seems durable, it's easy to use and my hair stays on it well. I'm very excited for spring to come since I don't wear my hair up in freezing cold winter!

It was silky like other reviewers mentioned but I used it to roll my dark hair so I didn't have to worry about the mesh of the other bun helpers I have. It did make my bun look more natural. The reason I gave it 3 stars is , it was very difficult to put Bobbipins into. That kept it from staying in place securely. The fake hair is wrapped dencely making it difficult to penitrate it with any type of Bobbipins.

This bun actually ended up being far too big for me. This bun maker is the giant of all bun makers. Fortunately it was made well, so I cut several layers down and then hand sewed it so it wouldn't ravel. I'll probably end up buying another one in the future but it works for now. It holds up well. It isn't as dark as the image shows it to be either. I have medium brown hair and it's rather lighter than my color.

I love this. It works great. I've worn it so many times and it hasn't lost shape like some other people have stated. I use it the roll up way where you keep rolling your hair into the middle. I tried the other way where you just spread your hair evenly over the donut at the base of your pony tail but I prefer the rolling way. And it hasn't lost shape yet. Also I get a lot of compliments. I have really long hair so with the large donut it makes a pretty big bun which is what I wanted.
