I use these around the indoor and outdoor garden. The multiple different sizes seemed a bit silly at first since each pitcher is only 1 liter larger than the last - however there is something magical about having all these sizes available because they each lend themselves to different tasks. The larger ones are great for mixing and storing wet and dry materials. The smallest ones for more careful pouring and for transporting tools that get wet like ph meters, syringes and stir rods. Every size between has found a proper home in my work. The handles are very sturdy and are quite capable of being used as a hook over a bucket for example. Only complaint is that the handles come new with rough edges however they seem to wear in nicely.

I used the 5 L jug to fill buckets with water and 2 scoops im the handle broke. Still have the rest of the set intact so far but havent tried the other jugs yet.
