Porcelain (New Ceramics)

Great examples of great ceramic artists!

I work in porcelain and am always looking to compare my techniques with others', to improve my command of this demanding material. I bought this book with the hope that there would be one or two useful new tips inside. The book is filled with photos of gorgeous work, but the written information is incredibly basic and apparently aimed at beginners. Definitely worth it, though, for the inspiring images, including many by the author.

A brief but interesting introduction to porcelain begins this book.It gives thorough technical information on the whole process begining with clay going right through to firing, followed by a useful section on faults and their remedies.Inspiring photographs of cutting-edge work by 48 international artists.
