Good starter set

Does what it says on the box.
Follow the instructions and get a perfectly crimped connector, not sure how long the blades will last, but I only need it for a few connectors. As pointed out by a few reviewers it is a bit difficult to see exactly which led is lit on the tester but it is useable.

Dosnt trim wires properly
Tool feels well made and crimps the plugs perfect but does not cut the two outside wires also on closer inspection some of the other wires are not cut clean and are tipping off wires beside them which will cause a short . Have tried the tool a number of times and get the same result every time . Pity it dosnt work properly as I needed it for a job quickly .

Did everything I needed it to do
No complaints really, I've terminated quite a few cat5e cables with this now. Even bought more pass through connectors from a different brand and the crimping tool worked perfect on them. One small thing is it's not great at stripping outer part of cables but it makes enough of a cut for you to be able to pull it off with some force.

Replace the next tech radio Shack brand pair of crimpers
This pair works actually very good. The first pair I owned never actually cut the ends of the wire so I always end up having messed up connections. This one the first time I did it first wire works perfectly with the tester. No issues at all. What recommend it :)

bon produit et durable
bon produit dans l'ensemble et l'avantage est qu'il est "réparable" en changeant les lames de coupe des fils. de ce fait, il devrait tenir un bon moment. tester déjà sur une cinquantaines de câbles et tout est ok.

Ottima crimpatrice
Crimpatrice facile da usare, di livello quasi professionale. Usata per cavi 5e e 6a funziona benissimo: le lame non si usurano (su cavi in rame puro) e tagliano benissimo. impugnatura comoda e antiscivolo. Non occorre molta forza per chiudere il terminale, il lavoro risulta ottimo.
