Versatile AND compact
Stumbled across this multiple-function stand when looking for a replacement for a standard-format Manfrotto tripod lost in an accident. Its head is of the GoPro quick-fit format but, having bought a cheap adaptor set (not without some of its own problems, particularly re clamp screw length), this will enable my 'standard' digital camera or my GoPro camera to be mounted as if on a traditional tripod or on a selfie stick.The device is light in weight and extremely compact when folded down, so perfect for back-packing etc.

An essential accessory
The hanger in the GoPro bundle pack is utterly rubbish. I don’t understand why they include it in the bundle. I wouldn’t mind paying more if they included this in the bundle pack instead of that rubbish.

It is stable, well-made, light, handy and I am very happy, I recommend it.

Great but...
I used this on holiday for selfies with the family and it was great. BUT when you want to extend it quickly (like I wanted to get a shot underwater from a boat) it's a bit fiddly and the connectors are incredibly stiff and working out which way to unscrew each one gets me every time! Great but not if you're in a rush. it also doesn't clip back together as I would've though it should.

Expected it to come with the part to attach the camera
Seems nice, but I have to order more parts apparently. I guess it doesn't come with the part that fits in the seat and attached the camera. Seemed like it would include it.

Proved to be no good....
I needed something like this for my newly acquired Gopro. Looked at the alternatives and they had mixed reviews, so I bit the bullet!To be honest it feels a bit too 'plasticky' but it does make holding the camera for both 'selfies' and normal videoing a real doddle and the materials used keep the weight down. The inbuilt tripod has it's uses too. Overall a decent enough item.* I have to revise my review as after just a couple of weeks the joints and ballhead all became very stiff and 'squeaky' even when loosened completely to move them. This is unacceptable in a product of this price so it has been returned for a refund. *
