Great product 👌
Excellent for my post op knee surgery. The english instructions are slightly difficult to understand as they seem to have been written by the manufacturers in China. Once you get past that, it's easy enough to set up. Mine came with a an air compression system, electrically powered (plug in). I filled up the container with water just past the min fill line, added ice, screw the lid on and carry through to your resting area. Obvs you have to connect your desired ice pack to the container and connect the air hose to the electric pump. (All really simple). You can set the ice compression on the electric pump control for 20s -60s. The while thing works abit like a 'Game Ready' machine without all the technical options & much cheaper. Worked well for me, tackling the swelling on a daily basis. I used it around 4 times per day and got two sessions out of one container fill with the ice & water. Stays cool for about 4 hours.

Invaluable for Total Knee Replacement
Excellent product , very similar to the unit I used in hospital. Cooling and compression .( Ensure you get the unit with the electric pump !)A few tips ; Freeze up a pack 500ml water bottles , then just drop them into the tank along with water to the fill line ( much easier than ice cubes , easy to swap out and refreeze , lasts all day.Position unit at similar level as you knee , this gives bet cuff compression .Very important make sure the white plastic spout is fully closed , i.e. flush .(otherwise the pressure is lost). The pump compresses air into the chamber via the clear pipe , this attaches to the top after you undo the purple cap. They have half turn connectors , need good grip to lock them on. Rotating the clear pipe back helps with this . The 20 second (default) pump time is about right , can be increased if needed . ON/Off button is below +/- buttons.. I got my unit from CDTOPS . Excellent customer service if you have a query.

Very good product
I bought this product following a total knee replacement. I had a TKR on my other knee seven months ago but the swelling still persists despite several daily ice packs. I sought something different to fast-track the reduction of the swelling this time around. There is no doubt this product helps as I have seen noticeable reduction of swelling despite the operation being only 5 weeks ago. However, after 3 weeks the circulation system wasn't working so well so I sought the advice of the seller. Without questioning what I said they issued a replacement within 24 hours. I accept that items can go wrong but it is how a seller behaves after that that counts. I have absolutely no complaints about the customer service and the replacement product appears to be working well and my progress continues. I would recommend this product and seller.

Great rehab tool
Bought this after having a complete left ACL reconstruction using part of my hamstring. My knee was very swollen, the pain wasn't terrible but I certainly knew about it!Anyway I decided to buy this to help reduce the swelling and get the physio exercises underway as my knee was difficult to bend due to the swelling.I set it up without using the instructions as it's pretty self explanatory and then double checked the instructions to make sure I'd done it correctly (personally I found them pretty easy to understand)Added the recommended water and ice and strapped the cuff on, breathed a big sigh of satisfaction as the cold compresses started to do its work. It's very comfortable to wear and very effective. The fact it compresses is it's big benefit, it feels a bit like a blood pressure monitor squeezing your leg (but not that hard) while the cold water circulates. You can set the timer from 20 - 90 seconds this is how long the cuff compression lasts it then releases and there's a small pause before the process repeats until you switch it off. Personally I found around the 50 second mark a nice balance. As I write this I've had the machine a day and already the benefits are showing. My surgery was two days ago so my leg was still very swollen. This compress has worked wonders though. The only real downside to it is it's quite noisy as the pump operates but hey it's worth it to get the relief it brings this might be an issue if you planned to try and sleep with it on. I wear headphones so it's not really an issue for me as I won't here it.If you want to get mobile again asap this is definitely worth the investment. Not sure why others have struggled with its operation? It's a simple system and easy to operate and refill. All you need is ice....As long as you have something slightly higher than your bed next to you (bedside table etc) and a PowerPoint you are good to go.Set the timer and relax as it does its workThe cuff is fully adjustable for tightness and will fit most size legs and its very comfortable to wear.I highly recommend this product and I'm sure even after I heal from this operation I will find use for it as a ice therapy tool for my combat sports and weight training.Excellent

3 stars good idea but doesn’t transfer enough cooling
Complex to set up. Struggles to get enough cooling to the areaOnce you have mastered the set up it’s clear how this works. The problem seems to be in the cuff. It’s not transferring enough cooling to the skin. The compressor pump helps but the cuff material is a firm plastic that isn’t moulding enough to the skin surface and therefore isn’t transferring the compression cooling that was hoped for. I add on ice packs around the cuff to intensify the cooling effect but that defeats the purpose. I re circulate the water and ice well but it’s just not hitting the mark for me.

Very effective
Very similar cuff to the type provided on discharge from hospital. It works really well and my says the cooling in her replacement knee is very good and controllable.
