Works MUCH better than I ever expected
I have a pretty dirty job. By end of day I'm normally covered from head to toe in dust, dirt, and compound. This sponge thingy is just rough and tough enough to get through it all. It scrubs deep, gets it all off in one go around, which cut my shower time down quiet a bit. Easily rinses clean, doesn't have/develop any nasty/musty/mildew smells, and holds up for a good while. My husband has used them for yrs, finally convinced me to try it. I love it so much, I went out and got one for our 12y/o son as well. 2 yrs later and we all still love them. Haven't found a better alternative yet. It could definitely be a little cheaper in price, but as dirty as I get and as well as it scrubs, it's worth the couple extra $$ to me I guess.

I love this thing so much I wrote about it in my diary
literally nobody: …me: This is *catches breath* ok, this is PEAK masculine merchandising. Whoever came up with this deserves a friggin medal.Ok Not only are these things individually wrapped; they are individually wrapped with HARD plastic. As if to say, "I am a MASCULINE product and REAL MASCULINE products DO NOT TOUCH EACH OTHER, unlike those girly shower poufs all hanging from the same hook or sitting inside of a bin, waiting to be rummaged through by who-knows-how-many dirty fingers..."Now let's get into this thing. *opens package with a VERY MANLY multitool*One side has a very industrial look. Like a wheel for some kind of top-secret amphibious vehicle, with a hubcap made out of some sort of magnified Velcro. or Velcro made for giants. Available in blue, or slightly more blue. And of course there's a nice, safe, colorless grey option too. OK, I guess it's more like terry cloth. But instead of cotton fibers, the “terry cloth” is made of hard plastic fibers. Very scratchy. Because if you're not scrubbing down to your dermis are you really even getting clean? The word "AXE" is engraved in the center in case you forgot the brand of the product you bought yourself with your own money. It's also on the "tire" part of the wheel-thingy, TWICE. That's a total of three times the brand name is on the product, all within an inch or two of each other. That gets an A for advertising. and for AXE.On the other side you have a black shower pouf. But don't you dare call it a shower pouf because this, my friends, is an AXE DETAILER. Not just any detailer, but an AXE one. In case you forgot. To be fair, this shower pouf is a little different. It's really compact, shoved down into itself. And isn't that what masculinity is all about? shoving everything deep deep inside a tough, manly exterior, bottling it all up forever and ever?Seriously though I friggin love this thing. Makes me feel super clean, and the density of the pouf makes for a really rich lather. Feels like you’re really using your soap instead of wasting it. Great product

Best Scrubby
I've looked around a little for a better scrubby than this and I can't find any others that have both an exfoliant and a loofah. It's easy to hold, hang to dry, and lasts a long time with good care.

For my son
I bought these for my son because I accidentally threw his old one away. So far no complaints.

A manly Feel
This product fits the hand well when you use the sponge part, but not so well using the buffer/scrubber. It's a very sturdy product; firm but not irritating. To me, it is much better than the puff sponges, but it is also pricier. All in all, it is a good compromise between a true exfoliator and a cloth. I recommend this item.

Does its job
Does its job, but does not stay as together as I would like. What I mean is that it flowers a bit; the connections come a bit loose. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for durability because it is still more than usable.
