Q: How can I get rid off the new smell? I tried vinegar but still smell

Boil 2/3 full of water. Add tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda and leave overnight. This worked for us for three weeks then smell came back. Using old kettle again!

Q: Does a slice of warburtons bread fit in this toaster?

I use the smaller "Warburtons Toastie" regularly and there plenty of spare room, but I've not tried it with the bigger loaf. At a guess, I'd say you are OK, but I'm not 100% sure. BTW - a 1.5lb loaf from my breadmaker also fits with something to spare. The slot is 5.5" long and 6" deep. Hope this helps.
