Great Quality, Construction, and Value.
Great way to carry a super-sharp replaceable blade. Will never need to waste time sharpening a regular knife blade again. Quality and construction are excellent. Amazing attention to detail for a knife/blade holder at this price.

Damn Good & Scary Sharp!!!
I love this little knife. The scalpel blades are dirt cheap so you can swap them out as often as you wish. And it is friggin' sharp. Be warned. It is a little bit small for my big hands so I bought another model, the S13. It is easier for me to use. No complaints at all regarding either one. It does help to keep the groove for the blade clean and to use a little 3in1 oil on it. That really helps when you are taking the blades on and off. I use a small pair of needle nose pliers. One thing to remember... It is not a regular knife. The blade is NOT a knife blade, it is a scalpel. You cannot whoop one of these out and go to cutting up a bunch of boxes on the loading dock. You can show off and cut one up almost effortlessly though. But with heavy use you will break the scalpel blade. They are made to be extremely sharp and precise. They are thin and do break if you are not taking good care when using it.

Very Nice With a Few Nits
Unlike the other reviewers' knives, my sample knife's frame lock works perfectly when the knife is flipped open. No need for any additional push on opening. The action is stiff, so a weak flip can fail to fully open the knife. This, however, is just that - a failure to fully open, leaving the blade typically between 1/2 and 3/4 open. Any reasonable engagement of the flipper reliably opens and locks the knife. The only difference on mine is that the action is stiffer than most, even for a new knife. So, fix the action or leave it to wear in? I'm leaving it for now. First, since I AM carrying the knife as my EDC for a while, I want to see how it breaks in. Second, I'm not sure I want the action much easier. While I like scalpel knives, as they're great for crafts use,, I've learned the hard way to be VERY careful with them. I've already nicked my baby finger closing this knife, in fact. Its tiny size raises the handling risk.My other nit is the the pocket clip. Like too many knives and, for some reason, a lot of titanium knives, the clip is chunky and clunky. It's simply way too hard to clip it onto fabric of any thickness (like denim). A plain stainless steel clip would be far better.Aside from the fit of the action, the finish is excellent. It's a good looking knife and the cut of the scalpel slot holder is perfect and secure with no play. The knife is comfortable to use and the small size makes it suitable for fine detail and control, which is where using scalpel blades excels. This is a fairly unique and niche knife. Right up my alley, though, as it fits my uses and is easy to carry. Regrettably, I have to agree with another reviewer that this knife is best suited to those who know their way around knives, can disassemble them, and adjust them to their liking.4 stars.

Easy to break
In theory, this knife could be amazing. The problem is the blades are incredibly easy to break. They are razor sharp tho.

Pros and Cons
I bought this folding scalpel because it looked well made and had some girth to it. I was correct!!! It is well made and is heavy for it's small size. Those were the Pros!!!Cons:It is extremely difficult to put on a blade because the slit you slide it in is pretty much closed. I had to wedge it open with a pair of small pliers and then insert the blade. One good thing is I don't have to worry about the blade falling outFrame lock doesn't engage on its own, I have to push it in place. If not the blade will attempt to close on my hand. This may correct itself in the break-in period.Flipper, like I said earlier that the tolerances on this knife are tight so the flipper will not flop the knife open. I have to manually complete the opening process plus engage the frame lock. Hopefully, this also will smooth out once it's broken in.All that being said, this is a beautiful knife and I will update everyone on the break-in period.
