Oh my gosh! What an amazing product! I used it for the first time this evening and I could hardly believe my eyes! We had new sod laid last fall, but already, due to the fact that we have two dogs, our lawn is covered with yellow/brown spots from their urine. My husband was planning to replace a number of large sections of it with new sod, and we may still end up doing that at some point. Meanwhile, I decided to try this product. I started out just intending to spray the spots, but the color of the paint, while totally natural, did not quite match the color of our grass. Then my husband suggested that we just paint the entire lawn. That's not what I'd planned to do, but once I got started, the magic happened. My lawn looks positively gorgeous. It is a COMPLETELY NATURAL- LOOKING COLOR if sprayed all over the lawn. Nobody is going to be able to tell that my beautiful, green lawn is not 100% natural. Now if you have an enormous lawn, you may not want to go this route, but if it doesn't bother you to spray your entire lawn, this is absolutely the product for you. It's concentrated and a single gallon goes quite a long ways. It took me about 20 minutes to apply the first gallon. It's now been several weeks since I painted my grass and it still looks amazing.

In the PNW around the end of July our grass dies if not watered. I have used this in our HOA common areas for the last few years and it works every time! I find 4ozs of this product added to my 2 gallon sprayers is enough to color, but still watered down enough to spray well with my $15 sprayer. Photos are before and after. Took three fill ups… 6 gallons of water, 12 ozs of product, and roughly 40 minutes to complete this project. Will last through the end of summer till new grass grows in!

Wow, this stuff looks great on my Empire Zoysia grass. I live in FL and the color matches perfectly with my neighbor's lawn. I mixed a ratio of 5oz of grass paint to 1 gallon of water and it was perfect. It does take a long time to get the grass coated though. Do not listen to the people who tell you to set the sprayer to a fine mist. Set it to just a little more spray than mist and the grass, and spray in wide overlapping circles and the grass will get coated much faster. I used a HD pump sprayer and had to go over the same spots 2-3 times. I painted a 900sqft area and used about 2/3 of a bottle. It took about 1.5 hours of spraying, but it worked great. I hope it lasts a long time. I ordered a second bottle right after my first order and Amazon seems to have forgotten to ship it and I can't contact Amazon customer service because they aren't taking phone calls right now. That's the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5.

This year we are in extreme drought, so in lieu of watering what was once grass, we decided to buy this paint, which we've used at a previous house. The whole process took about 4 hours, including mowing the dead weeds \ grass, raking up as much of the leftovers as possible, then mixing and spraying the paint. I bought a generic 2 gallon garden sprayer from local hardware store for about $20, it worked just fine. I mixed it a little heavy on the first pass, as you can see in the 'after' picture, it is darker on one half. Going to order another bottle to try and even it out.While refilling the sprayer, any mixture leftover in the tank bubbles up, like fizzy soda, and took a few minutes to negotiate that down to the point where I could get the water level up to 2 gallons. The next refill was smoother, as I made sure to completely deplete the paint from the sprayer tank before refilling it.Lastly, taping off the perimeter would have been a good idea, as recommended on the bottle. This stuff turns anything green (Even shoes), so take care of where the spray nozzle is pointed!

Good color, easy to use but even few weeks after I applied it to my turf lawn, paint leave stains on socks, feet and everything what touches the turf grass. That’s actually terrible, my kids can’t play on backyard anymore and stay clean. All clothes and socks and their hands, legs always getting green...I would never buy it again.
