Best WiFi bulbs ever made!!!!!
I have tried several WiFi bulbs and sockets and none of them worked well and often quit after a while. I have now installed 4 bulbs and 4 switched by Sengled as well as downloaded the Segled Home App. Without a doubt these have performed better than I could have hoped for. The app and bulbs are super easy to set up and schedule. They work much better than all the others I've tried. They also work automatically with the Sengled Home App, Google Home and Alexa. I'm buying more because they work so well.

Bright purchase
I bought this light bulb a few years back. Then I bought a color changing light bulb, same brand. They still work, never have they gone disconnected from Alexa or home wifi. And it's because I've used these before that I chose to order a few more. Performance is fantastic. In this particular item, brightness is great. Set up for someone who isn't tech savvy is not too frustrating but just a tad just because I don't understand how to go from 5g wifi to 2.4/5 wifi. I don't know what I did but I get them connected. Once they are connected no more issues will be encountered. Alexa devices respond just great with this light bulb. I made the mistake to buy a smart light bulb from Walmart thinking convenience will be good. Paid what I paid for 4 of these for just one! And I am so unhappy with them. They disconnect from home wifi. Or only one responds not the other. Alexa devices won't always find their connection. Just overall experience. After my first sengled light bulb purchase I assumed all smart light bulbs would work just about the same. I WAS WRONG. I will continue to purchase and recommend sengled lightbulbs. My first purchase was in 2020 I think and they still work just as perfect as day 1. I truly recommend it, give them a try you will not regret it.

Subjective Impression
Subjective Impression .... That's why I waited to review these bulbs. I wanted to see how well they perform long term.The first thing I should mention, in fairness to the bulbs, is my internet/wifi is sketchy. I have a100 year old house, solid interior walls. That might affect what I'm going to say about the bulbs. I also have Charter service and they cut service weekly for "maintenance". That could also impact the bulbs. Finally, the Sengled app leaves much to be desired.The bulbs are great, easy install, good lighting and they easily interface with Alexa. As long as the connection is good, Alexa is a smoothe operator. Sometimes, most often, I use verbal Alexa commands. When I don't want to wake my dog up, I use the quick access Alexa light panel on my phone. (If I wake my dog he thinks I should give him treats, midnight snacks, and he has to go out to potty)The internet/wifi interruptions cause a bulb disconnect and I have to reset most of them. That takes more time than I want to give a bulb(s). Sometimes the bulbs completely back out and I have to delete them and re-install them, name them again and hope the connection holds. That takes waaay too much time for almost a dozen bulbs that I have connected. The app makes an easy install but the app management is messy. For instance, an installed bulb page doesn't give options that you may want, like a quick reconnect and if you create room groups, it's difficult to undo. Suggest making your groups via Alexa. Use the app to install, select the Alexa control and do everything else in the Alexa app.Supposedly the bulb should last 25,000 hours.In doing my math on my hall ceiling bulb based on typical usage, it should have lasted about 2 years. That bulb has been in service for 11 months and it's currently lighting at about 50% (for 2 weeks now). So maybe that 25,000 hours is 100% for awhile, 50% for awhile, and 25% for awhile, continuing to dim until it dies. I expect the 25k hours to be at 100% for at least 2 years based on the usage of the hall light. Problem is, by the time you know this, return options are expired and you don't know until it starts dimming down. I guess it would be the same with any brand. My hall light is used daily but for very short periods, like filling dog's water bowl or doing security checks at night, less than 10 minutes at a time.The den light, installed at the same time as the hall light, is used for longer times and is still performing at 100%. Apparently the longevity of the bulbs is subjective.Based on my experience, I like the bulbs as long as there are no wifi glitches. Regarding this brand or any other brand, how long they last at 100% is anyone's guess. I wanted to review this bulb because I think it's fair to share how it has performed overall. I can't say it's any better or worse than another brand.

Easy App
This app to hook your lights up is really simple. Easy to use. Lights work as they should. Very bright. And save energy and lessen your carbon footprint as well. Can't go wrong with these. Will be buying more.

I love these and they work well with Alexa
I missed having a dimmer lamp like I had in my childhood. I had bought a couple in the last 10 years that turned out to be cheap junk and I ended up throwing them away. Then smart things of all kinds came along and I spotted these bulbs. They are bright when I tell Alexa “bedroom light 100%”. My room needs a bright light with just one lamp in it in order to see what I am trying to do. At 10%, this light is perfect for before bedtime when I’m getting ready to go to sleep or reading. My only complaint is that it gives me the option (the app) to connect to Apple’s Home app and it doesn’t work. But really I use Alexa devices to control everything in my one bedroom apartment. I have an Echo device in my bedroom and another one in my living room so she can hear me all the time. I feel like I have a dimmer lamp like in my childhood again with these lightbulbs. You don’t need to have a hub for these, there is the Sengled app and it connects easily to Alexa devices.

Randomly Works?
Installation and reset and using the app is easy. On, off, dimming with the app works, but not all of the scheduling options. It's not a confusing process; the directions and steps to program are simple/straightforward... but the bulb simply does not perform as it should. It turned on and off during my tests of the regular light schedules option, but did not complete the "wake up" process. So, I checked online and, of course, found multiple complaints and discussion on reddit and elsewhere about random and frequent operating malfunctions. So disappointed as I purchased this item specifically for the gentle wake up option (using the dimming process for a gradual increase in light), but the bulb didn't even turn on at all when using the wake up option. Update: Reset bulbs again and reprogrammed. The wake up feature worked.
