All the work, half the cake! It's perfect.
Not even being sarcastic. This pan fills an important niche in my kitchen.Half-size angel food cakes are brilliant. I get to enjoy the fresh texture and not have to ruin the experience with 2 day old leftovers. Plus, it's 5 only eggs. Which is a really nice amount of yolks for making 6 crème brûlée the next day. Win, win!

Great tube pan!
I love this mini angel food cake pan! It holds one-half of a normal angel food cake recipe. At Thanksgiving it made the perfect amount of cake without having a ton of leftover. If you go to the Wilton website they provide an angel food cake recipe that is designed for this size cake pan. I purchased 2 of the mini angel food cake pans so I have the option of making a regular sized recipe and dividing it between 2 pans. That way the extra cake can be frozen for future use.

Ho atteso tanto per acquistare il vero stampo Wilton, quello americano, imprescindibile per ‘Angel food cake’ detto anche ‘Chiffon cake’Ovviamente va maneggiato con cura: è un oggetto costituito da due parti che vanno perfettamente ad incastro e vi posso assicurare che non c’è la minima fuoriuscita di impasto pur essendo lo stesso abbastanza liquido. Terminato l’uso per evitare di deformarlo lo ripongo, adeguatamente isolato con carta.È sottile ma robusto e così dev’essere, per garantire adeguata diffusione del calore per cottura omogenea. Non va assolutamente imburrato nella cottura per non inficiare la tecnica stessa di cottura che alla fine vede il dolce capovolto nell’intero processo di raffreddamento.I piedini sono più alti del cono centrale quindi capovolto con il dolce ‘a riposo’ ha un’ottima stabilità.La misura piccola, data l’altezza del dolce, permette comunque una realizzazione per quattro/sei persone. Lo stampo grande per noi era eccessivo

Funktioniert tadellos! Ich habe jetzt zwei mal einen japanischen Chiffoncake damit gebacken. Der Trick ist, die Form NICHT einzufetten oder sie mit Backpapier auszulegen. Der Teig braucht den Kontakt zur Form um beim Backen und auskühlen nicht zusammen zu fallen.
