First off, the quality of the book is extra great. The book is extremely sturdy and is so sleek it’s almost shimmering. The quality of the pages and the prints are fantastic. The images pop off the page and are beautifully illustrated. (Shout out to the Ethan Roffler for creating the gorgeous imagery)Story wise, this book (And the entire “Once Upon a Dance Series”) are a great mixture of learning and fun.While the story of Naomi and the Unicorn progresses, “Ballerina Konora” displays various shapes and movements for children to try themselves, so they become immersed in the story. (All the while learning good moral lessons, expanding their knowledge of the world, and learning how their own bodies move.) It’s a great hybrid of childhood development all bundled into one. (And the plot is super fun! It’s a great journey seeing Naomi and the Unicorn travel on their adventure)I would absolutely recommend this book (And the entire series of them)

So much fun to do with kids!

I recently bought this book as a gift for an 11-year old girl, but it would be suitable for most young girls ages 3 - 11, so long as they like unicorns! She said she loved it and enjoyed doing the ballet moves shown throughout the book - which I didn't know about earlier, so that was a pleasant surprise!If you need a gift for a young girl in your life or just need another storybook to add to your daughter's bedtime rotation or even to just practice reading skills, this is a great book!

The storyline and the activities with it are wonderful. The illustrations are beautiful. My 6 year old Naomi loves this book.

This continues to be a favorite. This unique concept gets little ones moving while also coming back to the page to see what happens next. I love how it works out their excess energy while also teaching them about creative movement and telling stories through physical actions and language. Goes beyond your usual story book.

This book brought about a ton of imagination with my small dancers. We loved mimicking the dancer and pretending to save the unicorn! My little dancers even created a fun obstacle course to "help save the unicorn".
