Not as easy to assemble as a Lego brand
Our daughter started building bigger lego sets, and we thought this looked about the level of the Friends legos she had been successfully building. However, the directions weren't quite as detailed and easy to follow. SHe ended up needing much more help assembling this.

Great set
I bought this for my 6yr old daughter. We spent a few hours building it and it was so much fun. My daughter normally only plays with dolls. This set was a nice change from her usual doll set. She really enjoyed following all of the very easy instructions. I would definitely recommend it. Very similar to Legos.

Getting what you pay for with this one
These are definitely not the same quality as the leading L brand and neither is the manual for building it. Instructions were difficult to follow, but we managed to figure it out. My daughter (9) has had fun playing with this and the bricks are compatible with the leading brand.
