Bonide Mosquito Beater Natural Granules 1.3 lbs (Pack of 2)

This product is awesome for anyone whose state bird is the mosquito. It kills the larvae and the adults. It is fragrant and works for at least two months. Will not let anyone down when spread in the yard. Definitely needs more volume. When shipped or stored the product compacts so it needs to be shaken a little bit. Actually Bonide needs to fill it to the top. It is definitely worth the purchase and spread it when it is not windy. Have used it religiously for mosquito control without and in addition to fogging. Would highly recommend this product to anyone.

It's impossible to keep all mosquitos away. Especially when you have neighbors that won't eliminate their standing water breeding grounds. I sprinkle this on my garden, flower beds and lawn every 2-3 weeks to greatly reduced my NJ mosquito issues. 20+ bites turns into 3 or less.. This beats spraying deet on every time I go outside.When I do get bit, I immediately use Witch Hazel with a cotton ball and apply 2-3 times every 20 minutes to eliminate the itching.

We live in a state with high temps (105 yesterday & today) and very low humidity. Have to water veggie, rose and flower gardens twice a day, plus the yard. Neighbor's yard (vacation home) gets watered 3 times a day, every 8 hours. This stuff does help keep the mosquitoes away from my gardens and areas in our back yard where we spend time. Took away one star because this should stand up to watering the lawn longer. I mean, if we didn't have to water, we would not have such a mosquito problem. Smell isn't bad, just a bit over-powering at first. Glad I gave this a try this summer.

I like the fact that the ingredients are all natural...no DEET! Easy to sprinkle on...just follow directions and choose a calm day, no wind, and no rain in forecast, and you are good for 3 weeks!

Smell was potent but not unpleasant. We applied as instructed taking care to place it in areas that wouldn't get wet and we definitely saw an improvement. The only downside was that the improvement last just about a week. Hard to justify the expense and not sure why it's repelling power has diminished since it is still smelling strongly to us several weeks. Containers might be sold by weight or underfilled as some other reviewers have noted -- no inner seal and only about half-full.Probably would only buy again for use under very time limited conditions, like an outdoor gathering.

I bought these a couple of years ago for a terrible summer mosquito outbreak and it worked wonderful. I've looked for it at many retailer's and could not find it with great disappointment. I've used this product for years and I love it. The smell is lovely. Just put it on your lawn and in your garden 24-48 hrs b4 you need to use it.

Use as directed and it keeps mosquitos away for hours. I'm an astronomer in Texas, so I'm out in the late humid Southern nights a lot. This works for keeping mosquitos out of the area for hours.
