I'm from Wisconsin... sweating was not something we did much... in Maryland about the least comfortable thing is a leather seat from May-Oct. I used the old rattan/wire types in the way-old-days... I was just thinking; 'just maybe?Not only...does this work, but so well, I bought a second one day after using the first. My work truck has cloth - but I still prefer air flow. It is not as wide as my Volvo V70's seat, but wider than my butt. I thought the attachment system was odd - 'till I used it: 100% effective. It did install as directed, but was a bit difficult, having to pull the straps pretty tight in my 2011 GMC Acadia SUV front driver's seat. The straps and plastic clips seem a bit on the thin side, so I'm not sure how long they'll last... a bit less than expected for $40... I paid that much hoping for a higher quality product, but the seat mesh does seem strong with good ventilation, and is comfortable to sit on. One of the anchors that go between the cushions fell off its strap, so I had to fish that out and figure out how to re-install....

I use it year-round and have purchased several of these for my cars and some family members. These will stay firm after a lot of use, and do not collapse down onto themselves. Great for summer to get air behind you and good for winter to keep you off a cold seat.

I've owned this seat cushion for 4+ months as of the date of this review. I spend a lot of seat-time in my vehicle. I needed a solution to keep me and my seat drier on sweaty days. This seat cushion/pad works great! There is generous, open cell area for air circulation. I felt the improved cooling/drying the moment I sat on it. I was concerned that the stand-off between the bottom and top layers would be crushed after a short period of time thus taking away from open cell dynamic. This is not the case as it has held up well. It is a bit narrow and only covers 2/3 of the seat. Installation was easy and the attachment points are perfect (Honda Element.)

I had such high hopes for this product. It does keep you cooler and allows air to circulate. It states it can either go in a vehicle or on a wheelchair or a desk chair. It is better suited to a wheelchair or desk chair as it doesn’t really have strapping that’s appropriate for a good fit in a vehicle. If the manufacturer had a better fit for a vehicle, I would give it 5 stars. It’s very comfortable sit on and it’s lightweight.

The wife just bought a new 2024 Sienna XSE with Softex seats. Let's just say the seats don't breath well which means your backside get hot which is not fun. We took what we could get as you have to step up to a limited model for ventilated seats which I have heard don't work great anyway. In either case I researched an option to make this new van more tolerable and I found it. These work to keep us cool enough and they don't look bad either. I did cut off the middle strap as it would block the side seat airbags but as you can see they fit well without it. We even bought the seat pad version for the rear captains chairs. My backside gives these a thumbs up. Hope this helps others looking for a solution.

Works as intended - to create space between the back of the seat and the back of my body so air circulates there and I don't get sweaty when it's warm, or when I want the AC to get to my back. One thing I wish was better: the width could be at least an inch or 2 wider. It's made of woven plastic and there's a spot where an end of a strand of the plastic on the back part sticks out and pokes me on my back by my armpit when I move. Can't seem to get to it to cut it or rearrange it, so I have to try to adjust the whole seat so it doesn't do that, but eventually it reverts back to that position and pokes me again. Other than that, for the price it does what I want. There are straps that are supposed to be for tethering it but they're useless and I can't use them, so it just sits on my car seat without being anchored. It doesn't move around and only moves slightly when getting in or out. It's the only breathable car seat that fits my seat. Tried a couple others and they were way too wide. Although this is narrow enough, it still could be an inch or so wider so the outer part of my legs aren't sitting on the edge of this thing. Sometimes it's noticeable and gets uncomfortable, but as I said, it's the only one that fits my seat. Oh, yeah, the seat could be a little shorter also, It hangs over the edge of my seat by about an inch and a half, in effect extending my seat. Tried bending it to mold to the front edge of my seat but it's only getting that way through use, so it's not as bothersome as it was. Used to it now, so the only thing that still bothers me is getting stuck by that piece of plastic that sticks out!
