Good hammered effect
Bought this to refresh the look of the filing cabinet I use for storage in my workshop. The cans arrived quickly and after prepping the cabinet (a good clean and wire brushed to remove loose paint and rust) I gave the cans a good shake for 2-3 minutes ... the spray came out evenly and coated well. The hammered effect that it has left looks great.

Not good as a primer, didn't seem to adhere.
This stuff just didn't properly dry or reacted with the paint I used on top. Brushed rust from car wing, used this stuff, let it dry for a suitable period of time, applied the correct colour car spray paint over the top, left to dry for the recommended period of time, went to smooth out the top coat and the paint all lifted. Had to remove everything to start again using a normal primer, it was a nightmare to get it off, had to basically scrape it off as it like a sticky gel.Applied some to a rusty drive shaft after peeling off old powder coat where rust had lifted it, gave it a quick wire brush, sprayed on, first layer seem far to watery, after 3 coats the rusty orange is still showing through. Yes I shook the can for nearly 5 minutes.Maybe I'm using it wrong, maybe my can is defective, all I know is I followed the instructions and it didn't work in two scenarios.

Good - don't try to be lazy though.
Good coverage if you follow instructions. Gives a consistent finish rather than a hammered one which is silver in colour. You need to apply in layers and let each dry for an hour or so. If you try to put too much on in one go it pools and the sticky patches take ages to dry, so be patient and you'll get a great finish. I applied to corroded zinc-coated steel. Covered rust no problem, although a wire-brush would be needed if you want to get rid of the texture of the rust.

More rose gold than copper
Bought with the ivory spray to redo my sun and moon sculpture. The ivory was perfect, but the hammered copper is much more rose gold - much lighter than anticipated. That said it was very easy to use, adhered well to metal and gave good coverage after 4 coats.
