Seems to be the same as Giant OEM
My old Giant OD2 compression plug seized to my stem cap and screw. I got this item and a new cap and I'm now back in business. Holding this side by side with original part, they look identical.

Poor design
This is composed of a coarse sheet metal and a center expander. The expander has no springs and has a wedge at the bottom and a screw at the top. Tightening the screw bends the piece wider against the coarse sheet metal. The problem is that since it's not spring-loaded like most other expanders, it stays expanded. Also, the design actually has a very little expanded surface that comes in contact with the inside of the steering tube - the center expander centerpiece is a semi-hour glass shape with just a small portion at the top and the bottom.

Fits Canyon Grizl
This is one of the few expander plugs that will fit my Canyon Grizl. And it's not plastic like the one that comes on the bike, so hopefully it will last. I'd give it five stars if it came with a headset cap as well.
