Amazing tool. So much time saved!!
I was a bit weary about ordering this but I thought to myself, Ive wasted more money on worse things in the past so I decided to give it a try. They work amazing and I’ve since bought the double gang cutout as well. It’s a bit shaky to get it started so I would recommend that would just push from the get go. If you ease into it, they jump around a bit when starting but if you just dive in, they get going. At least on drywall. I have not actually used them on anything else. I mainly do remodeling and add a lot of low voltage spots like Ethernet and RG6 but have ran plenty of new switches as well. Don’t waste time with a keyhole saw anymore. This is half the time.

Much better option!
Great for cutting holes in the wall for electrical outlets. Much better than using a keyhole saw

Good Product but beware!
I ordered this product when I was remodeling my media room and needed to cut a number of low voltage box holes for speaker wires. DOES THE PRODUCT WORK? Yes, it works as described and did a very neat job of cutting out the holes. As others have noted, I used it to cut holes in plasterboard, so can't speak to paneling. As always when using an oscillating tool, do not apply to much pressure, allow the tool to do the work. You will need to seat the tool for its initial bit, but after that, it cuts a perfect hole. BEWARE- this tool comes in a number of variation; 1- Gang Metal Box, 1-Gang Low Voltage, 1-Gang Electrical, and they all cut a hole a slightly different size. I did not realize the difference and purchased the 1-Gang Electrical Box, which cut the hole slightly bigger than the low voltage frame. It worked, and the cover was able to hide the slightly larger hole, but not a perfect fit for low voltage. As others have mentioned, it is very pricy for what it is but does the job. It's also made in the USA.

Perfect cut
I used it withCalculated Industries 8105 Blind Mark Drywall Electrical Box Locator Tool – Powerful Rare-Earth Magnetic Targets (3) and Locator Kithttps://a.co/d/2GOQ74cIf you are putting in sheetrock and need to cutout for boxes, this is a great tool when used in conjunction with the magnetic locator. If you are careful, you will always be within 1/8" of the box.Small caution, when you are cutting in for an existing box, check as you go for alignment so you don't cut the plastic box if you are just a little off.

Not the magic bullet you want, but...
They don't just melt into wallboard like is demonstrated in the videos, but they do cut a true rectangle as you need it to and it minimizes the chance of running past the intended stopping point as happens with a hook bit or a semi-circle.They're a little pricey, but do the job.

Updated Review after using for the last couple years. Awesome Product!
Pros: Cuts a hole in a hurry through drywall. It does cut through lathe and plaster just fine as well at a bit slower rate but it works! It has saved me tons of time and has made a great cut every time even on some skim coated walls. DO NOT USE ON METAL avoid too much contact with wood as well what I do is I cut the plaster then I switch to the wood bit to cut the lathe. When Cutting lathe and plaster. It is exceptionally quick this way imho.Use and lifespan: If used correctly this thing will last a Long time I have cut over 50 holes with this tool and the last hole cut was just the other day. First we shut down power and switched out boxes and put covers over the holes of lathe and plaster now we are tearing out walls and switch to nail ons thank goodness all of the electrical wiring was replaced before we bought the house because I see spots where knob and tube was abandoned and dead. Or at least I believe this to be the case.
