This is a nice duo and well priced coming from Cuisinart when you buy the two items together. The burger press is perfect for use on a variety of meats and burger types. I really like the stainless steel cover that allows you to melt the cheese and pan-grill onions nicely to go with the burger. Made from quality materials, and both items work just the way you would want them to. The cover is about 9 inches diameter so you can easily fit two burgers underneath it and fit it with most stove top pans that are at least 9 inch diameter. Buy it. It’s lots of fun.

I bought this for my son. He love making smash burgers, and I got tired of watching him try and use cups, pans, whatever he could find in the kitchen to make a smash burger. The press is flat and is heavy duty.Some of the other presses have ridges, which may cause the patty to stick in the grooves. Just a guess.Don't put the press in the dishwasher, or it may develop rust. Also, give the press a spray of veg oil before using it to keep the patty from sticking when you press down on the burger.The dome/lid makes for an easy steamer to melt the cheese. Great combo...
