45 cal 1911 fits snug even with my wide wood grips

Great value for a 1911 A1. It’s a little lose but that can be fixed easily. The lock engages firmly and unlocks with a push of your index finger. It’s not soft polymer as advertised, it’s more like hard plastic but it works. I will be interested in how much abuse it will take before failing, maybe it won’t but it’s a 17 dollar holster so i expect it will fail in some way. Until then it’s been holding its own. A locking holster for under 20 bucks? Let’s see how it goes.

Excellent craftsmanship, top of the line holster. This holster fits 5” 1911A1 very well. It locks and unlocks firearm perfectly and is very easy to adjust desired angle with a supplied Allen wrench. The paddle lock is on the close side of the holster and not the outer part of the paddle like most others. This makes it easy to remove by pulling the holster away and up. Most others I have had (name brands very expensive) were so hard to remove I would have to drop my pants and fight with it. I cannot say enough about this holster. I will buy other models for future purchases if they have them. Excellent product, you will not be disappointed.

For the price of this holster, it's a really great deal. I have a Springfield Defender 1911, and it fits perfectly. A few small adjustments to the tension bar and paddle, and I could even conceal with this holster, albeit while wearing a winter coat. There's a little of rattle, but considering it's designed to fit multiple different models of 1911, that's expected.

Solid product, durability, and love the index finger release. Hard plastic. Fits well on the belt.

This holster was priced well and seems to be as good a quality as any like it. The one thing I don’t like about it is that my Charles Daly 1911 fits loosely in it. I added some self sticking felt in a couple places and it’s much quieter now but just wasn’t snug fit. I don’t like my firearm slipping and sliding around in my holster. I would buy it again I think. Adding felt is not a biggie and it’s also not the first holster I’ve done that with.

You get what you pay for - a baseline (at best) holder that I would not trust for everyday carry since there is no tension adjustment to keep your gun snug inside.
