These boxes have a substantial feel and are quite elegant. I especially like the box design that gives the sides thickness. They are large enough for a 5x7 print or a folded scarf.

I just opened these, and I have to say that, so far, I'm not impressed. I acknowledge that perhaps I didn't read the description as carefully as I should have. These, from the look of it anyway, are decently smaller than I had thought they'd be; I can't check for sure though until I have more time, because they didn't come with instructions for how to fold them into shape. Maybe other people are more experienced with how to fold these heavily creased lines to turn something like this into a paper box, but I haven't had much experience in that department. I will re-read the product description later—when I have more time than this morning— to see if there are instructions there (& recheck the dimensions, too). After I get at least one together, I will update my review.**Edit** I, admittedly, forgot to come back and update after getting these together. I added a star, because these are what they claim to be; I simply didn't read it correctly. I had had it in my mind to use these for loose paperwork, but they aren't big enough—they might be big enough for small envelopes (probably not business envelopes), but I'd have to check. There ARE instructions on the listing for how to fold them, but the instructions were still confusing for me; my husband put most of them together. One was stubborn because a small piece was ripped off, but once it was together adequately, it stayed and wasn't in view. These boxes are a simple, classic sort of cute. I think, as the description says, they are appropriately sized for jewelry and candy.I guess the lesson here is to know what you're ordering...

I am printing my son’s graduation announcement on both glass and metal panels using sublimation. Some people are getting glass, while others are getting metal. They are 5x7 and they fit. I even included the little stand feet in the box. Can you tell he’s an only child?The instructions on how to fold them are in the photos of the product, on the product page. They do not include anything with the boxes. The instructions could be better but I made do. It didn’t take long to figure it out. I wouldn’t count on these boxes lasting a long time but they will last long enough for my purposes. They can be a little tricky to close because the corners of the box get caught on the part that slides over the box. If it gets caught don’t force it to close. Just push in the corners a little and then slide the box in.The part the slides, bows a bit on the top and bottom, but it does not bother me. For my purposes, no one will notice or care.

I buy these boxes to package items for my small business and they are so beautiful!! It’s an intricate box, so it’s not simple to put together at first. After a couple of tries, it’s pretty easy. Totally recommend!
