These are slim squares which are basically the same size wet or dry - I think I was expecting them to be a bit thicker when wet due to absorbing water?That said, I've found these to be really good for cleaning and wiping down surfaces. They are soft and flexible to get into any nooks and crannies, and they do absorb the moisture off properly so I don't need to use another dry cloth to wipe afterwards. This saves me time.I use the diamond side if I need to scrub any dried on stains off the table, sometimes this does need a bit more effort and I try not to use the same part of the cloth all the time because I'm a little concerned I'd rub a hole in the cloth. So far all my cloths have been absolutely fine though.I ordered the multi-coloured pack, they are nice colours and I did see suggestions to use a colour coding system (e.g. pink for the sink, blue for the loo) which I did think was a good idea for hygiene.In practice however I am simply using all of these colours purely for kitchen surfaces (and have other cloths for bathroom cleaning). It's particularly great for quickly wiping off water from the sink and around the worktop joins. It's amazing how much cleaner the sink looks when it is gleaming water free!I rinse and wring them out after each use, and hang to dry so they don't smell. There's 15 in the pack so you always have a fresh clean cloth available, even whilst a batch is in the wash.They've gone through the washing machine with no problems, and I just air-dry them (they generally don't lie properly flat again after the 1st use, but they still fit in the drawer).I've had my pack for 3 months and they are still going strong. One of the yellow ones has faint stains that won't come out now, but this doesn't affect it in use. I will be happy to order another pack when these cloths do need replacing.

Exactly what I've been looking for! I have used cloths like this for years but it pains me when I have to throw them away once they're knackered. These look great, perform really well and I can machine wash them. I'm hoping this means that they'll last a lot longer as well as being compostable

Edit* I still love them but with heavy wear they last about 2 weeks, but that is better than my sponges and if i wasn't wiping cheese grater type fan covers i think they would last a heck of a lot longer. The fact they will go in the compost puts my mind at rest and i will be buying them again 😊.*I was keeping my fingers crossed when I purchased these cloths and it worked, they are brilliant. I've been using cellulose sponges for a while now but they are not great for wiping my extractor fan or my air oven as they start breaking up. I didn't want anything from China either, then I saw these. They are strong and wipe everything brilliantly. No streaks either. I am sold on these and I can't see me using anything else now. I really am very chuffed with these cloths 😁!!!!

So wanted to give these 5 stars, but they bleed dye on the 1st use , afterwards they are okay to use. Great for general cleaning not sure how long each cloth will last. Only time will tell if they are value for money.

Although I bought these sponge cloths a few months ago I've only just opened the pack to use my first one. There's a selection of 5 colours in the pack which is useful when you want different colours to clean specific areas of the home. The cloth absorbs really well and so far I'm very happy with it. I can't comment on its lifespan yet or how it fares in the washing machine. If all goes well. There are no nasties in the cloths and I'm happy to pay a little more for them than my usual brands. I shall be buying this 'eco' brand again. Compostable too!

I appreciate how absorbent these are and that I can put them in the laundry to refresh.They're much better for the environment than synthetic sponges.I don't wash up much by hand these days and find these dry out fairly quickly which maintains their freshness and safety compared to synthetic sponges which can stay soggy for days. Oddly, I find them easier to use too, and that's a welcome bonus when dealing with Long Covid and arthritis.Happy to have stumbled across them and even happier that they're blue which meets with my nerdy cleaning cloths colour coding system.

We were looking for a small / thin but fully absorbing cloth for use in the Kitchen, bath rooms and as an all round cleaning cloth.The size of 170mm × 190mm is perfect and the high water / fluid absorbency is better than expected.The varied colours are bright, pleasent and adds to the products overall look and attraction whilst the cost is very reasonable for the high quality product you receive.The fact that they are made from compostable zero waste material is a superb add on.Perfect and highly recommended.Paul

These are so good and last for a long time, use one every day and put in the wash every few days. Still have all the pack and with being different colours easy to rotate
