Glad I got it! It looks exactly as pictured- walnut-ish color. It arrived on time, was well packaged, no damage. It was easy to put together by myself. It's stable, and my kids actually love putting their shoes away in it.I have to say thank you to the amazon reviewers, since it helped me make an educated choice. yes, the down-sides of this cabinet are that it is relatively shallow- my husband's size 11's will only fit if tipped, slanted, or placed sideways. Yes, the shelves are short, so not so great for tall shoes, heels, or boots. The shelves are adjustable in that you can remove an entire shelf to get twice the height, but there are no extra holes in between to make smaller adjustments in shelf height. The doors are held in place with surprisingly shallow thingies, and it does help having a 2nd person hold the doors up when you put the final piece down. And yes, this piece is a walnut-veneer particle board construction, which you expect from the price point. All in all, we're happy with it.

Family of four in a small house, living in a four season climate. This cabinet has been an excellent edition to our entry area. It looks good, is sturdy, and assembly took just under an hour for two of us. Prior to the cabinet, we had a shoe shelf, boot trays, and some baskets to hold everything. The cabinet has tidied the whole space, and my kids can easily put their shoes away.CONS:As others here have stated, instructions are not as clear as they could be. Took some time to review them thoroughly and laid all my pieces out ahead, based on other suggestions. Helped immensely.Lastly, one of the doors is not hanging correctly, and rubbing on the bottom of the cabinet as we open and close it. Although annoying and causing a bit of extra wear, it is a minor inconvenience.

I love how it looks, it works perfectly for me, but my husband was about to come unglued during assembly because the pieces were not marked and a few of the pieces looked very similar and made it difficult to decide which was which!

These are great for storage and look very nice.... BUT, they were a little shoddy. My husband had to take off the top two bars on the doors because they were uneven when nailed on. He fixed it, but they shouldn’t have come that way. The screw covers/caps didn’t fit inside the screws. The tops of the cabinets also had scratches, which may have been delivery, hard to say. For the price they are ok, but I wouldn’t put these anywhere super prominent where people would be able to see the flaws.

Nice piece for price, easy to assemble. However, one of the front door panels was damage in transport. The nails/staples were bent, and could not be pushed back in the same hole, and the wood was splintering. But, you have to weigh the damage vs. having to pack everything back up and lug it to UPS to return it.

I really like this. It was not hard to put together, I can fit some of my sneakers In here as well as a lot of my candles. I’m Happy with my purchase.
