I was actually surprised how clean and moisturized my skin felt after using this. I had just mixed up a paste with a little water, then massaged into my skin and rinsed. My skin felt clean, moisturized, and no dryness. Do note though, there is turmeric in this which can stain a lot so beware of the towels you use. With the small amount used, this will last a while so a good value

Ubtan powder, by definition, is an herbal powder mixture made of lentils, grains, flowers, and herbs, which is exactly what this powder is.True, its messy. Its like putting a thick toothpaste on your skin. But that is the nature of ubtan powder.I mix mine in milk, sometimes plain yogurt, and apply to my face. If I plan to shower at the same time, its best to be ready to step into the shower before applying so you dont get it on your clothing.The steam from the shower also helps this to work.Once I finish my shower, I rinse this off before stepping out. It leaves my skin moisturized and clean, my blemishes seem less apparent, and my skin doesnt feel tight and dry.I love that I found this and have added it to my skin care routine.

I love the way that my skin feels after using this. It is so soft and so bright. I did have to look up different recipes for how to make a face scrub with this but it is very easy and it does come with some recipes that you can use that are listed on the Amazon site. This mix is very well and makes my skin really clean which I like. I usually bought face scrubs but it's nice to be able to make my own and I love the ingredient list.

This ubtan powder makes a great face wash or mask.I have used it as both and although the color looks like baby poo it is a great addition to my face care routine.When I use it as a face wash I add a small amount to my hand and then add some face wash and mix it together before putting it on my face and washing it off.As a face mask I mixed it with some rose water, put it on my face and let it dry before washing it offBoth ways make my face feel lovely and fresh, toned and brighter.Don’t let the color put you off as it doesn’t leave your face that color at all -I was slightly worried about this when I first saw it but there was no color left on my skin from the turmeric.Over all it’s a great addition to my skin care routine and I will continue to use it!

This is a finely ground chickpea powder with Turmeric and other herbs mixed in. It is a traditional exfoliant in India used mainly during the Haldi ceremony or wedding preparations for the bride. I mixed it with a bit of yogurt and used it for my face. It dried after a while and then I rubbed it off and finished with a gentle face wash with water. The rubbing off was easy and quite gentle on my face. I lked it a lot and and glad its available in a package so its easy to find. Overall, if you are looking for a face mask and exfoliant combo, this is a good natural alternative.

The instructions offer multiple ways to use this powder depending on desired outcome. I didn’t think lemon juice or yogurt would make a good base for my skin so I just used water. It was a little messy to make and apply. Scent was mild and pleasant. Rinsed off pretty easily. Did not notice any difference really in my skin but it did not irritate my skin.
