Barebones | Hori Hori - Walnut Handle, Tempered Steel Blade, Garden Tool

The photos showed a sheath on the knife but the knife arrived without one. Not very safe. We already opened the package and cannot return it. Very disappointed!

I like the Hori Hori but am very disappointed that it did not include the sheath. For the price and on a competitive site like Amazon I thought that it would have been included. For a little more I should have just bought from my local camping store and had the sheath.

This doesn't come with a sheath. Returning it.

It's beautiful, strong, bigger than I thought and cool. The handle was a bit loose when it arrived and after one use it all came apart. There is a screw at the top that wasn't tightened. I reassembled and it is much better now. *UPDATE* this thing won't stay together. There aren't enough threads on nut to hold onto the internal shaft. Maybe two threads actually reach it and then a simple bump makes it all come apart. Nothing like having a knife fly apart for safety in the garden. Super disappointed.

Well made and sharp, love the handle, and it feels comfortable in my hand. Love the depth markers for planting seedlings. They make it so easy. I dont like the hard case that was purchased for this, but the knife is wonderful. I will have it happily for a very long time!!
